Two more down, 104 to go.

I went to Battle at the Border 2 at the weekend, so thought I'd update my tables of unit records. Two new units used: Obsidians and Warden 816. My 3-2 record means a slight hit for Q9, Raelin (RotV), rats and Isamu. I think these, and the other strong units, might be suffering a little as I work my way through some of the weaker units.
Each unit's record:
By General:
By Wave (Classic Only)
By Planet (Classic Only)
My next event is a classic 515pt tournament. My currently planned army will add three new units: Dupuis, Gilbert (to move the flagbearers off zero) and Knights of Weston.
After that, Wave 9 should show up and set back my progress, but I'll be a going to a tournament with a huge limit---Saratoga Sugfest, 675pt armies---in July at which I should be able to make quite a dent in the new figures.
Each unit's record:
Code:

Wow, you haven't used Gilbert and KoW? I have, and I don't even HAVE a Gilbert. Congrats on the success with the Warden. He's always been a personal favorite of mine.

Thanks Elffy. I used to use the knights all the time but drifted onto other units about the same time as I started going to tournaments (and before I got Gilbert). I've never used Gilbert effectively, but now I have some advice from experts posting in his Book and I see how it should be done in theory. I'm hoping to try it in practice before the event, but if not, I'll show up and see how it goes.

Ask Matthais. He knows all.

Wow, three wins and no loses with MORSBANE!?
Props for that. I absolutely love the guy - he's buckets of fun - but he's always let me down. Then again, I've still yet to give the new Elf Wizard army a real go... |

You inspired me to see how many different units I have played through the years. Turns out I have played 61 different units to date with 92 remaining. I was surprised as I tend to gravitate to certain builds. The many different variants I have played have lead to the diverse sampling of units I have played.

I'm finding the different variants---sidebar, Above Cursed Lands, Heat Of Battle---are great ways to give some less good units an outing too. Now if only I could find a format in whicc Hatamoto shines... |

Ha! I remember running the numbers and being unable to find any army, map or matchup in which HT was more beneficial than some other 130 point unit(s). Just couldn't think of a single situation.

Unfortunately, I don't find that surprising in the least! |
