Week@HS Revival - Week #31

HoSS
This week, we bring you the Imperial Stormtroopers!
These soldiers represent the backbone of the Imperial Army and are great with any Imperial build. Their Imperial Marksmanship allows for one additional hit per skull against squads, making them devastating from height. Their 3 defense helps keep them in the game and their higher range makes them an even bigger threat. Just make sure you don't pit them against heroes...
Map of the Week
This week we bring you a map by the fellow Cartographer: Robber!
Evergreen Prison is a well balanced map thrown together with: One Battle for the Underdark Master Set, one Marvel Master Set, and one Road to the Forgotten Forest expansion set.
With the well designed structure of this battlefield you can ensure yourself that you will be able to hold out for a relatively long time with the shadow, trees, and rock outcrops that are placed. But, you can still move quickly to your enemy with the road that is winding through the trees. With all of these nice combinations you can almost be certain that you will have a good, and balanced battle. If you would like to see more of Robber's maps you can visit his home thread here. Or, you may download the building instructions for Evergreen Prison here.
Custom SuperScape Creation
This week we are bringing you Zzzax by Monk!
Using his Energy Bolt special attack, Zzzax can bring his opponents to an electrifying end! Zzzax's also get stronger the more he is wounded due to his Life Consumption special power. Like a superscape Krug mixed with a lighting bolt, this guy can pack a punch.
Miscellaneous
Do you enjoy giving your funny bone a little "tickle"? Or maybe you love sharing your own humor? You can do either if you visit Agent Carr's awesome thread: Just How Awesome is Agent Carr.
For a while now users have been coming aboard this thread and posting Agent Carr humor. Basically it's your basic "Chuck Norris" jokes but with Agent Carr in his place making it a Heroscaper's version of sorts. Some jokes that you might see there could be along the lines of...
"Agent Carr is the reason why Waldo is hiding..."
"Agent Carr counted to infinity... twice."
and, "Agent Carr doesn't have a watch, he decides what time it is."
There are overall pages on pages of this hilarious humor and more pages wait if you are the joking type. If you are interested you may visit the home thread: Here.
Editor's note
Sorry for the delay. We are going to be working on a better battle plan in-sanctum soon, so this hopefully won't happen again. Also, it is with sadness that we at Week must say goodbye to Joseph Sweeney, as he is leaving the site. As one of the first people to join on with the revival, a great reporter and all around good guy, he will be greatly missed. Needless to say, we at Week wish you good luck in your endeavors Joseph, and the sanctum will always remain open to you if and when you decide to return...

I will say that JS popped his head into the Hangout a few days ago. He expects to be back around December, so hopefully that will work out for him!

Evergreen Prison is really pretty ! The simmetry of shape is cool when mixed with the different colors of Asphalt and Concrete.
Well done. |

More awesome-ness from W@HSIt has always been a great read when a new W@HS shows up. I never know what to expect and I look forward to it to brighten my day, being encouraged that it "ain't dead yet" and I'm *NOT* the only one who still loves this game system in spite of it being OOP.
Is there a <LINK> for the HoSS Cards, so that I can download a printable file? I really like the design of Evergreen Prison, it appears to be simple, but has those elegant elements that make strategizing so much fun. And I can't believe that there is finally a Stat Card for Zzzzax. I picked up three of those figures to use as proxies for an Obsidian Guard Squad, way back when I didn't want to spend another $29.95 on an extra Volcarren Wasteland set. Then I thought maybe they'd make great Large Fire Elementals bonding with Kurrock. Now I guess he'll stay with my Marvel figures, which I hardly ever use. But thanks anyway, from the Complete-ist in me. |

Great map! And it's always fun to see Zzzax get some mention, anywhere.

Fun card for the Stormtroopers. It would've been funnier, though, if their attack was like 3 or 4 and Imperial Marksmanship made it so the skulls counted as blanks and blanks counted as skulls! Given how the Stormtroopers fired in the movies, that would've been about right.
