On March 14 (Friday), the Gang of Four(minus one , Taeblewalker couldn't make it) gathered at my place to play Baldur's Tomb!

Our usual start time is 12:00, but Sherman was not to arrive 'til 2:00, so chas and I played an army apiece in a 2-Player game. I played

And in today's installment of flameslayer's insane drivel, I present to thee a list of music I enjoy. Much of it hails from the radio, so mainstream has reason to be mainstream. :P As I hear new stuff all the time, I hope these blogs are editable...

Also, the songs are sorted by general henre of the song, as opposed to simply by artist. Another Bites the Dust and Bohemian Rhaspody are by Queen, but you wouldn't know it offhand.

If I got an artist wrong, I'll fix it. I'm doing most of this by memory >.>

As so often happens, the discussion I meant to have has not materialized due to my lack in communications skills. I apologize to any and all for dredging up old *&^%. My sole purpose was to encourage those people who eschewed VC, for whatever other reasons, to give the experience of actually playing them a fair trial, in hopes that they would enjoy them as much as I do.

What I wanted to get into is how the actual gameplay of Heroscape has evolved, and to be far more specific about the various aspects of what happens in real time over a map, whether it be at tournament or at home. What are we thinking about when we play? How and why has that changed over time? How has the evolution of the Lore of the game affected that? How has the introduction of C3V/SoV units affected that, individually and collectively? What are the differences in the way the game feels, when we are building armies and when putting them on the table?

Okay, a little bit about me. I am absolutely TERRIFIED of sharp, pointy, stabby objects. So, as a kid I hated getting shots. When I was 17, I donated blood to our school's blood drive. Try to face my fears by having a nurse stab me with a (in my head) gigantic needle. It buuuuuuurned going out. I still remember that pain. X.x I'm pretty sure it didn't work out so well.

So, because of the new health insurance crap my job is using, we all get to have health based things done to us. Things like cancer screens, diabetes, smoking, blah blah blah. And then I get told what I get to do.

"Through this process, you will be here to find out your BMI (Body Mass Index), Blood Pressure..."

Wait WHAT?

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I'm pretty sure snatching a syringe and using it as a deadly weapon is illegal, right?
