Hang the new guy

There’s a new guy here at work. We really needed another person to help with the work and he’s most welcome.

I liked him immediately, though he’s young enough to be my son. He wears his hair in a small pony tail and comes to work on a skateboard. He’s in his twenties, competent and polite but I admit he does seem a little young. It’s not the skateboard, which I think is funny, or the pony tail – who really cares- but it’s the fact that he uses his mother’s email. That seems a little strange to me. I’m a bit Quasatch- i have techno rage- but even I accept email. Is it a warning sign?

This job is a crazy job and it honestly takes people at least a year to get their footing. A big part of it is because management is a disorganized disaster.
