Week@HS Revival - Week #11

The C3V/SoV section has now been renamed VC in honor of their new joint title. We also bring you yet another new monthly section, Fan Art of the Month (headed by The Grim Reaper's Friend)!

C3G
This week, we bring you a bevy of DC goodness! The Green Lantern Mogo map is a relatively new addition to C3G and is meant to represent the largest of all Green Lanterns and the place GLs go to relax, Mogo the living planet! Beautiful to look at and both symmetrical and thematic, it’s great fun to play with those Lanterns of any hue!


This map makes for a great place to pit your Green Lanterns up against their nemesis, The Sinestro Corps! Right now, C3G is working on a new member of their army to join Sinestro, Arkillo, Yellow Lantern Scarecrow, and the Common Sinestro Corps Soldier – Lyssa Drak! For those who don’t know, she’s the wielder of the Book of Fear, the tome that records the deeds of every Yellow Lantern ever. Pop in and check out how she’s coming along. Heck, she may be done by the time you read this!

Secrets from the Sanctum!
Word is that C3G already has their release schedule mapped out for 2013 and beyond! Expect some Timely releases and some unexpected things this year from C3G, including a possible celebration in honor of their 500th Unit completed! Stay Tuned, True Believers!

Custom of the Week
This week's custom card: Glass Golem by Lamaclown! This Uncommon Hero loses defense dice as she takes damage, but watch out! Once she goes down she shatters into pieces, potently damaging anyone around her.

Cobravigon created this beautiful swamp water and tall grass set, and has even made a tutorial for those interested in trying their hand at custom terrain making.

Map of the Week
This week we bring you a map from Bloody Bogle, the Dwarven Mine!

This map is huge, offering many places for awesome combat. The inside of the Mine is like a fortress, with two levels and a convenient spot for shooting at soldiers attacking the main door. It would even be good for a Moria scenario (cough, HoME, cough).

Custom SuperScape Creation
This week, we bring you a card from the mind of Matt Helm... Roger!

This guy can take a pounding with five lives and six defense. With his Projected Energy Absorption he can even use enemies attacks to heal him (if he rolls more shields then needed). And when he falls, he'll go out with a BANG, literally, causing damage to those around him if he rolls a seven or higher on the old D20.

Fan Art of the Month
For the Fan Art of the month we bring you the incredible work of b57123m! One hundred percent digitally drawn, b57123m has many pictures of the heroes of ‘Scape. On a select few pictures, he has also teamed up with Wonderball68, a superb artist known for his excellent pencil drawings. Be sure to tell him what you think!


Miscellaneous
Castle terrain can be used for things other than just a battle field, you know. Typhon2222 has created the ultimate dice tower, simple and easy to build, your home-made dice tower will be both fun to make,... and keep that opponent of yours from complaining about how you roll your dice.
