Well met!

The Gang of Four (minus one, as Taeblewalker was indisposed) gathered at chas' Game Palace to play
Game of Thrones - The Last Winter?

We managed to get in two plays of the scenario.

In the first game, I played the Undead, chas ran both armies of the North/Targaryen alliance, and Sherman played the Lannisters.

Position at end of first game

The Undead won during Round [4 or 5?] by occupying the Glyph of Ultimate Power for a full Round.

In the second game, I played the Undead again, while chas and Sherman switched sides. Basking too warmly in my first game triumph (and, on some level, wanting to see how the end game would play out), I made the following mistakes in the second game (which chas and Sherman took full advantage of):

1. I did not clear space around the Undead King for Reanimation, and lost the opportunity to reanimate numerous units (most notably Bramcephys) in the first few Rounds.

2. I acted one turn too late to prevent the destruction of the Undead King by Drogon.

The stage was now set for the final conflict between the Lannisters and the North/Targaryen alliance for dominance of the Seven Kingdoms.

My forces were somewhat depleted by this time.

After some fierce fighting around the entrance to the Courtyard, the Lannisters were left with four Heroes to the North/Targaryen alliance's five. The
North/Targaryen Heroes hid out in and near their Start Zone where the Lannisters could not get at them, and were all set to win.

However, the Undead had Wyverns left to them, and moved one towards the Courtyard in Round 9. Surviving the pitiful attacks of the Northern Tagawa Samurai Archers, and assisted by the last Undead Brute tying the last Archer down, the Undead Wyvern, on the last turn of the game, Talon Grabbed the Targaryen's Sonlen, and took him out of the Courtyard. The game thus ended in a draw, with the Lannisters and the North/Targaryen alliance having an equal number of units (four) in the Courtyard after 10 Rounds.

I love it when a plan comes together! ~ Hannibal (A-Team leader)

This scenario performed exactly as we had hoped. It was thematic, balanced, and excitingly tense to the end of each game.

Thanks to chas, for Hosting and play testing. His advice was instrumental in the scenario's success. Sherman was as cunning as expected, having the most opportunity in the second game. chas' persistence in piercing my lines to get at the Undead Kingpaid off in game two, preventing me from winning both games.

A good time was had by all!
