The Book of Superboy (Kon-El) (II) C3G DC WAVE 42 SUPERMAN FAMILY Comic PDF Mini PDF The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Superman set. Its model number and name are #017 / Superboy. _________________________________________________________________ Character Bio - After Superman died to stop the monster Doomsday, four new players showed up in Metropolis, claiming to be the returned Superman. One of these imposters was Superboy, known at times as "The Metropolis Kid." This clone created from the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. He spent some time as an independent hero, and even spent some time working alongside Cadmus Labs as a field agent. Then one day, Superman invited the Kid to join the family, and Kon-El finally had a family to call his own. _________________________________________________________________ -Rulings and Clarifications-

NAME = SUPERBOY
SECRET IDENTITY = KON-EL SPECIES = METAHUMAN UNIQUENESS = UNIQUE HERO CLASS = CHAMPION PERSONALITY = COCKY SIZE/HEIGHT = MEDIUM 5 LIFE = 5 MOVE = 6 RANGE = 1 ATTACK = 5 DEFENSE = 5 POINTS = 240 KRYPTONIAN DNA Superboy has the species of Kryptonian in addition to the species listed on this card. When Superboy rolls defense dice against a normal attack from a figure that is not a Kryptonian, if at least one shield is rolled, all blanks rolled count as extra shields. SOMETHING TO PROVE Once per player turn, when a friendly Champion or Kryptonian attacks an enemy figure within 6 clear sight spaces of Superboy with a normal attack and two or fewer skulls are rolled, immediately move Superboy adjacent to the defending figure, if possible. After moving adjacent, immediately roll 2 combat dice to add to the attack roll. If the defending figure does not receive any wounds, move one unrevealed Order Marker from an Army Card you control to this card, if possible. TACTILE TELEKINETIC TOUCH Before moving on Superboy's turn, you may choose an opponent's figure adjacent to Superboy and move that figure 1 space. Alright, I think I got the updates from LCW on there. Seemed like we generally landed against multiclassing here. Additionally, had some hesitation it seems on making a Tactile Telekinesis special power when we already have it as a special attack.
Past that, I'm considering making Something to prove work with Kryptonians, Champions, and Citizens, but can definitely be convinced against the full Kryptonian loop in. This is being designed as a kind of younger/earlier Superman family Kon. If we want to up stats, that could be valid by making it a bit lunchbox with his current Rebirth look where he's at his more typical levels, has this look again, and has started interacting with the family again. |

I loved this era of the character! I think it would also be cool if TT could be used to move him away from Obstacles or DOs.

Does he not have flying or SS?

Heh. For sure.
Any ideas for a new power name for the telekinesis? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Also, love the idea of using the DO to like slingshot himself, or move himself around, Spidey! |

Toss doesn't necessarily cover him moving himself, though.
How do people feel about upping defense to 5. When comparing things and his general durability, does feel like he should score above Jon. |

Obviously I'm disappointed to lose the Young Justice connection, but otherwise looks cool.
What was the theme on the Citizen callout again? It makes him real good with Civilians. (Or at least Civilians feel like an autodraft with him) I also have no issues with TT's name as is. We have TT Special Attack, not TT. |
