Top 10 C3G Armies
Hi all,

I started the Super Hero Draft Cards thread, a collection of the armies for varies points that would be made into cards for random drafting, & it was suggested that people should rate the armies. It was forgotten -- probably because it was buried within that thread. Now the suggestion has been raised again, so I thought I should start this separate thread to collate them together rather than mix it with the actual Super Hero Draft Cards thread.

I will have a separate post for each army point value. In that thread will be the 1-10 positions that will be an average of all scores provided out of 10. I will link to post of each persons comments so you read their justification.

So have some fun playing the armies & don't forget to rate them here.

I give it a solid 7...fun, thematic, and had some synergies as well.

As far as Deadpools team I'm not sure. He got unlucky at the start and lost Deadpool before things could get set up...even luck though and I would say less than FBS but don't know. Perhaps we will try again switching teams.

The offensive output is pretty scary when Sage boosts up Deadpool, Wolverine, & Sabretooth. However the double X marker provided by Loki did not seem to work out as well as envisioned. In order to get the second X for some double extra healing you have to be taking turns with Loki instead of your boosted up mutants. I'd say the Sage/X healers combo seemed pretty good, but the Loki & Rouge parts could be replaced (maybe throw in Marrow?). I give this army a 7.

I can't find the write up nor remember who wrote it but there is a really good strategy bit that I am still looking for that should be linked to this one.

1000pt - Classic X-Men

Same as above but the the strategy section of the Cyclops Book is a good basic strategy.

I love playing both of these...thematic and fun and lots of options.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
