Cost:
There will be no entry fee. Bring a HeroScape-related prize for the prize table if you can, but don't let the lack of a prize keep you away. (The Bookery does have some HS stuff if you want to buy a prize on the spot.)

Prizes:
Players will get to pick a single prize from the prize table in reverse order of their ranking (lowest first, highest last - the winners usually have most of the HeroScape stuff available), except for any special prizes (custom terrain, exclusive figures, dice towers, t-shirts, etc.) which will be picked from highest to lowest.

Heroes of the Molten Sea - Collection 8, Defenders of Kinsland
Kilts and Commandos
Templar Knights

Armies:
500 points apiece. No customs, no Marvelscape units - repainted versions of exclusive figures are fine. The theme is a Highlander variant: everyone in your army must be a unique hero. You can have the infamous Raelin/Q9 combo - but they won't be able to hide behind any squads!

Though it won't be an issue here, there will be 24 starting zone hexes.

Tournament Scoring:
The tournament will have five rounds of one-on-one games with no separate final.

With the exception of bonus points (below), I'm using the tournament standard currently being developed; see http://www.heroscapers.com/community...=11233&start=0 for details. As it is still (technically) being argued out, the details might be subject to change - I will use the version that is current at the beginning of October. If relative losing score and fractional scoring are still listed as options, I will use them.

OVAH Bonus Points:
The OVAH allows up to 40 bonus points, so that is the maximum I will have. Each match two destructable objects will be placed on the map, Glyph Shields - they will each cover a glyph and prevent anyone from entering the space until they are destroyed. Each has Defense 5 and 3 Life, each wound done to a Glyph Shield is worth 5 bonus points for that match. Another 10 bonus points can be earned by being the first in the match to get a figure into your opponents start zone. Your bonus points for the tournament will be the highest bonus points you scored in any of the matches, and the bonus points will be used as a tie-breaker after strength-of-schedule and before losing score.

The destructable objects will mysteriously resemble Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and the player who gets the killing blow may take the broken Glyph Shield as a trophy.

Glyphs:
Glyphs will be random, face-down from the following list:
Astrid (+1 attack)
Dagmar (+8 initiative)
Erland (Summoning - limited to your own units only)
Gerda (+1 defense)
Valda (+2 move)

I'm limiting Erland because I'd rather see people bringing up their own fighters than kidnapping weaklings that the opponent needs to protect (Taelord, for example). You're just going to have to work for it. It also makes the victory a trifle less random - a person's whole army can sometimes be destroyed by having one key figure plucked out.

What else:
I will provide dice as well as wound and order markers - feel free to bring your own Valkyrie dice, of course. If you need master set (RotV only) figures to complete your army (for instance, two people normally play with one master set and want to include the same figure), there should be plenty available.

Hell yeah, all unique heroes...I guess I have to be there since I'll be making the last map, which I'm...still...working...on.......(a case of builders block?)
Hopefully I'll have something soon. I'll be there with at least 3 others.

The first master set has 10 Unique heroes, and 7 in SotM.
