I had the same thought during this game. However, to my dismay my opponent gleefully pointed out that the Ogre Pulverizer, Nerak, and Me-burq-sa were all large figures, and therefore did not qualify for Denrick's giant killer ability.

The CEE's army:
Sir Denrick, Capt. John Varan, knights of weston x3, and the Tarn Viking Warriors.



Andy's army:
Nerak the Glacian Swog Rider, Me-burq-sa, Ogre Pulverizer x1, death chasers of thesk x4, and Marcu Esenwein.



We played on the BoV map Road Rampage with two unknown glyphs.



The death chasers cover some ground with orc battle rush.



The opposing forces stare each other down from across the bridge.



A death chaser captures the Glyph of Lodin (lucky twenty-sider).



The death chasers rush the knights of weston, but they get pushed back despite the having the high ground and Nerak nearby.



Nerak secures the Glyph of Nilrend (negation).



The negation is successful and poor Capt. Varan is the victim.



A death chaser gets the jump on Sir Denrick.



However, the death chaser's life does not last much longer.



The knights of weston tear through Nerak and a death chaser.



Me-burq-sa rolls a 19 on paralyzing stare and shoots down a knight of weston.



Another knight falls to an orcish blade.



Sir Denrick steals the Glyph of Lodin.



Two death chasers get cut down.



Me-burq-sa blasts Sir Denrick, bringing him up to four wounds.



Another knight of weston gets pummeled.



Me-burq-sa sweats as two death chasers perish next to him.



The marro warlord finishes off Sir Denrick.



The death chasers remove any knightly presence from the bridge.



Me-burq-sa snipes another target.



A second 19 is rolled for paralyzing stare but Me-burq-sa whiffs on the attack roll.



Capt. Varan climbs up the hill and guns down a death chaser.



Me-burq-sa, once again, rolls a 19 on paralyzing stare and manages to inflict two wounds on Capt. Varan.



A death chaser adds on a third wound.



Meanwhile, a lone death chaser infiltrates the knights' start zone and catches one off-guard.



A death chaser bites the dust.



Another knight of weston enters the afterlife.



Me-burq-sa rolls a fourth 19 on paralyzing stare! Capt. Varan clings to life by only a thread.



Both sides exchange blows.





Me-burq-sa's rampage continues.



The last death chaser dies.



Capt. Varan gets struck down.



Another successful paralyzing stare (at least it wasn't a 19) kills the last knight of weston.



The Tarn Vikings manage to deal the first wound to Me-burq-sa.



Four angry vikings prove to be too much the next turn.



Marcu goes berserk and hits the Ogre Pulverizer for three wounds.



Marcu keeps it together and gets the first strike against the Tarn Vikings.



Marcu takes four wounds.



Marcu is defeated ... only the ogre remains.



The Ogre Pulverizer slaughters one Tarn Viking but takes a wound himself due to lumbering bully.



The Tarn Vikings strike back bringing the Ogre Pulverizer to the edge of death.



Both of the Ogre Pulverizer's attacks prevail.



Andy wins!
