1.0 design
Only change is the drop in height in the far corners opposite of the start zones. Dropped from level 3 to level 2. See picture below. |

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
So with that change, the high point will be level 3, right? Where all on the map will be level 3? Is it just in the middle or were those hills near the start zones up to level 3 as well? (Been a minute).
On special rules, if I'm reading this right, it's: all trees are DOs, the ruins and Bungalow and the *cars?* are not DOs, but the Bungalow has interior access. Is that right? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
None of the medians should be above Height 2 with the alterations, unless I'm missing something?

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
Yes the medians are height 2, the center is 3.

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
Then either we built it wrong at con or it got changed because the Medians were the same height 3 as the mid ground.
Even in the image above it's clearly height 3. The asphalt is Height 1 then there looks to be concrete on height 2 and then grass on top of that. Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
Sorry I should have said height 3 with the center being height 4.

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
OK, so height 4 is the high point.
Do we want to consider dropping the medians a level? Height 2 is still useful against the asphalt. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Elm Street - Design/Review
it's been awhile so I could be mis remembering but I know part of the issue was getting the cars to fit
The main issue I remember is that it was very easy to cut off that height from someone but having range from the center would counter that. Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |
