Well, to be fair, the Xbox One does include a second-generation Kinect. Sony has yet to announce any plans to bundle the move controller and stereo camera with the Playstation 4.

Wow! That's crazy. I'm pretty amazed that Microsoft reversed direction on that. I'm more of an Xbox gamer and I was having second thoughts about the Xbox One, but this makes it an easier choice. I'll probably end up with an Xbox One 6 months after launch.

There is no way I will ever get the Xbox1 under the current plans for it. Why would I buy a product that I can not use with out receiving their permission daily? I'm also not going to buy games at full price just so I can't play them at my friends house. Microsoft has really gone off the deep end.

They've taken back the daily online requirements, so there's one less thing to gripe about.

Wii U!

I just got an Xbox 360, so I have a ton of games to play before I consider upgrading. Wii U would definitely be my first choice, with the new Smash Bros and Mario Kart and the like now announced. Wasn't excited at all before, since their starting line up was lame, but the future looks good!

Need 3DS's really bad too, so my wife and I can play the new Pokemon games. We enjoy playing them together, which is really awesome, so I'm prioritizing that. Job situation kind of sucks now, plus we're moving to a new apartment, so the odds of getting them by the time X and Y come out are extremely slim, but I'm hoping.

I've never really liked the PS games much at all. If the Wii/Wii U had better online community/interface/matchmaking, I wouldn't even consider Xbox either. I love me some SSBB, but online matchmaking blows in that game. Pokemon (despite its childish nature) is such a deep and strategic turn based RPG, and I enjoy playing that online too, minus hackers that use a pikachu with moves like fissure and have a cheat to make it hit 100% of the time.

All in all, I think I am going to be in a toss up between Wii U and Xbox. I'd like to hear how good/bad the online is with the Wii U before I get it.

I've been more inclined to be an X-Box type, but that bone headed decision put me in the PS4 camp pretty firmly, even after the decision to about face.
