Character Bio - At first, she operated under the moniker "Hawkgirl", but later changed it to "Hawkwoman", Shayera is a fierce warrior with expert skills in battle and in combat strategy. A member of the Justice League, and a leader of her people, the Thanagarians, Shayera knows how to rally her team to push themselves to success.

RALLY FOR JUSTICE
If Hawkwoman inflicts one or more wounds on an opponent's figure with her normal attack, you may choose a figure you control within clear sight of Hawkwoman. You may either move the chosen figure up to 4 spaces, or place a previously removed green Battery Marker, Justice League Marker, or Order Marker, unrevealed, back onto the chosen figure's Army Card. A figure may only be chosen for Rally for Justice once per round.

NTH METAL DEFENSE
When rolling defense dice, you may count one blank as an extra shield. If the attacking figure is Undead or has the Magical Defense special power, you may instead count all blanks as extra shields.

AERIAL ASSAULT
After rolling defense dice against a normal attack, you may immediately move Hawkwoman one space for each shield she has. If she ends this movement engaged with the attacking figure, all excess shields count as unblockable hits on that figure.

Figure Tutorial:
You can use the regular figure without any painting if you'd like, but if you want it to look more like her Hawkwoman appearance, it's fairly easy.



1. Paint the helmet completely gold.
2. Paint her top blue, leaving the symbol/medallion untouched, as well as a thin strip of gold/yellow going across the bottom.
3. Paint her pants the same color of blue, leaving the belt and boots untouched.
4. Paint some gold/yellow shoulder guards.

Rally for Justice is gonna be REALLY good. I like the design.

Pretty solid. She has a fairly substantial weakness against special attacks, but she packs a punch otherwise.

Is the second sentence of Nth Metal Defense supposed to work on all attacks, or just normal attacks? I assume just normal attacks.

For consistency sake probably just keep it normal? Not sure.

I mean I feel like most special attacks by undead or figures with Magical Defense are the types of attacks that Nth Metal would help against.

I could see the Mace helping with SA, but I prefer the Counter Strike and Defensive Move power to be limited to normal ones.

Yea Aerial Assault is probably too confusing with some Special Attacks so if you want consistency I could see changing the Nth Metal power.

Very cool. I was anticipating this one when I put that Super Friends booster into Christmas in July 2.

Only question I have is does it break anything to put a previously removed numbered Order Marker from earlier in the round back on your card later in the round? Like if it's your turn 3 and you have an unrevealed Order Marker 1, is that problematic?

Other than allowing someone to use it again for a power that involves removing an unrevealed OM, which is of course intentional, nothing comes to mind. Also opens up some design space for future JL members to plan around that ability as another means of synergy.

Cool. Well Booster Gold at least likes it now and is a Champion, so probably one to try in playtesting.
