You forgot baseball which the most boring if not annoying sport of all time to actually sit down and watch. I'm falling asleep just thinking about it.

I hate watching a good game of "Battleship".

If there is such a thing.

I guess thats not one of the choices.
It really should be though.

"You sank my Battleship!" Man I hate that.

Yeah, I'd say golf.

I have seen some exciting games of connect four....you know that Sis is pretty sneaky

No contest: the biathalon. Combines the least exciting kind of skiing with the least exciting use of firearms possible.

There is no such thing as a BI-athalon...you either are an athalon or you are not....geeeeeeeez

Yup, I'm the one who said football. I don't get...I tried to watch it....I just can't. I know I'm in the minority here, but I'd actually rather watch a Baseball game on a Sunday afternoon

QFT

Golf, I like golf. When you play, it makes it easy to appreciate just how good these guys are.

I like watching tennis sometimes. IMO doubles are the best ones to watch, but they never see much air time.

Football is one of my favorites to watch.

I prefer foreign soccer, but I'll watch MLS. The foreign leagues are crazy good.

I'm a basketball junkie. I'll watch as much as my sports-hating wife can stand. I'm not crazy about fundamentally poor basketball, so this one almost deserves a vote.

I love watching sprint-type events, so swimming is high on my list of favorites to watch.

I voted for figure skating. I don't consider it a sport as much as a dance contest (or bribe contest?). Anything that introduces judge scores raises a red flag with me, so I'd have to partially go with diving as well.

My absolute favorite to watch is indoor volleyball. There are strategic considerations on par with football, and it is one of the fastest games on the planet.

You sound like a bitter Pirates fan.

Everyday I wake up, I'm realizing how bad the NBA is right now.
I don't want it too be bad, but it isn't very good.

The NFL is great, but college ball is better.
When Baseball is on the radio, there is no better way to spend the afternoon.

Unless, you've got a map set up on the picnic table of course.

i thought i entered baseball, but i know it didn't put up all the options i made.

Curling is a canadian sport, and isn't considered a sport in america.

after having ice skated before, i realize how hard it is. i usually don't consider things with judges a sport, just because to much of it is subjective.

Actually I enjoy curling, granted it is boring to watch, but it is really fun to do. I put golf, I cant stand playing or watching it.

At the risk of annoying Malechi even more than usual I am going to say that I love sports. ;) I love playing sports. I love watching sports. I love talking about sports. And I am going to talk more about sports. Taking them in the order than they are mentioned in the poll...

Golf is one of those sports that I would generally rather not watch. It's a helluva lot of fun to get outside on a course in a golf cart with a cooler of beer. It's not as much fun to watch some spare tournament on a Saturday afternoon. Still, when the Masters is going on I pay some attention to it.

Tennis is a lot of fun to play and it translates well as a spectator sport. It's got a good pace that can sometimes get frenzied and any sport that has girls in short skirts is awesome.

Football is the greatest TV sport ever. It was made to be enjoyed with a TV tray in front of you and a six pack in the fridge. Playing it is not so fun if you are wearing pads and in the mud, but flag football isn't bad on a weekend. College football is fun, but I am going to disagree with Joah (gasp) and say the pro game is much better.

Soccer is fun to play, but not as much fun to watch. I have really enjoyed watching World Cup matches though. And when Cameroon won the gold medal in the Olympics in Sidney I thought it was awesome and was happy to have watched it.

Basketball is a spectator sport for me. I don't have the hand/eye coordination or the hops to play it myself, so I have to settle for watching. I like the pro game, but in my opinion college basketball is the most exciting game hands down.

Aquatics (swimming/diving) are sports that I only see during the Olympics. I don't mind watching them. The races are generally fast, exciting, and they feature women in bathing suits. What's not to like?

Figure skating is pretty horrific unless Will Ferrell is doing it. Still, there are pretty girls in short skirts so it's not all bad.

Baseball is an awesome sport to play and watch. I will agree with Joah that listening to a game on the radio is even better though....especially if you are scoring the game under a shade tree with your grandpa.

Curling is another sport I only see during the Olympics. And I've got to say it's not half bad. It's got a silliness factor that makes it entertaining and once every four years isn't hard to take.

For my money there are two sports that are always on TV that are like hammers to my head......Nascar and Poker. Guys making 2,000 left turns or sitting at a table while wearing sunglasses whip my behind. No thanks. YUCK. How have you folks not mentioned these? Oh yeah, because they're not sports right? Please tell that to ESPN and the networks so it's not clogging up the airwaves then.

I am an ANTI-sports fan. ALL sports are equally boring, pointless, and downright offensive in their continued existence and the amount of importance society places on them. I hate them I hate them I hate them.

With that said, I can stand to watch only the Billiards on the telemabision. But that's because I like to play the Billiards. Itsa Ni-eece. All other sports can go play with their balls.

I gotta say I enjoy playing sports as well, but watching sports? How lazy do you have to be to be caught up in a hobby of just watching others play a game ... and they call us game geeks?!?

I embrace the game geek and sports geek inside of me. They struggle for predominance from time to time. Unfortunately the game geek always wins and instead of six pack abs I have a keg.

I think golf is just an excuse for watching grass grow :p

~Aldin, Drive-ing

I really don't enjoy golf. :puke:
Soccer is my favorite sport. :D Having played the sport helps you appreciate the skill these people have and how amazing their plays are.
Not many things are as heart pumping as a good break away.

Which sport is the least entertaing? While I have not had the opportunity to do any Curling, I think a number of you are giving it a bad rap. Curling would probably not be high on my list but it would be far from the bottom also. I know some people who actually are on a curling league and I think it may be fun to try. Enough about curling.

My vote for least entertaining sport would be: FISHING

Beat that for boring (least entertaining)! ... makes curling sound exciting.

Hunting could actually beat that. I don't do either, but at least you can fish when it's warm outside.

My vote was for soccer. I just can't see any thrill of seeing a ball get kicked back and forth. There is no physical play. If someone gets touched, they whine to the officials. At least with baseball, there could be beamings and bench clearing brawls. With soccer, the fans tend to get more violent than the players at least over in Europe.
