Where do you judge range for Arrow Volley?

When using the Roman Archer's Arrow Volley, do you take the range from the roman farthest back or from any side of the roman archers' triangle?

Yep,

Yes, they all need to have Range and Line of Sight to the target. (Hasbro FAQ)

However, I can see this as being important to determine things like the Indians' Concealment power, so it's a good question. I'm not really sure what to think on that, I'd have to chew that over.

In what connection? The power works against special attacks, if that's what you mean.

Yes, but if you have your archers in a triangle formation, all of course within range and with LOS, the Indian gets a bonus to Concealment depending on the number of spaces between it and its attacker. So that's a difference of one to the bonus, not much, but might be important at some point.

Ah. I hadn't thought of that. That's what I get for posting without thinking! ;) I guess we can search the forums, but I think it's something that hasn't been asked before. I would say to use the nearest archer.

My first instinct is to says count from the closest, as well. That's better for the archer player, and we know they could use the help. I didn't see a mention in the archer forum, I'll probably post it in there.

It hasn't been brought up here before, but you should use the closest archer to the targeted MRT to determine the number to be added to the concealment D20 roll.
