I don't know. Why am I picturing Arkham locked in a storage room in Karat's basement?Change comes whether we will it to or not. With somberness I would like to announce that Arkham as chosen to step down as a Hero take some well deserved rest. Fear not, this is not the last we have seen of this hero. As time has proven, this heroic individual who I am lucky enough to call friend shall one day make a triumphant return when the passions burn bright within him and he will blow us away as he continuously does. I look forward to his contributions, as he is able to provide them, that he will make as a Legend.
In his stead, I have chosen to step back into the mantle of Hero. There is a strong and pervasive need for steadfast heroes to usher us into this new age of C3G. I know that Arkham has and will continue to leave his stamp on it but I feel I have more to give and that what I have to give is exactly what this project needs at this time.
Please join me in wishing Arkham a blissful and restful retirement as a Legend! May he find the peace and respite he needs and deserves
That's my secret...I don't wear any@Arkham Man, I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You more than anyone have shown me and taught me that our online interactions are not indicative of whom a person really is. I have been around long enough to watch you grow from AS to the guy I just got to spend a weekend with in Tennessee. In person, you are nothing like your original User Name, and I have come to really appreciate your involvement here and who you are as a person. Thank you for all the personal stories you shared with me at Con this year, I'm a better person for having known you, Steph. Take whatever time you need, but don't be a stranger! It won't be the same without you.
Good luck, @Karat! I know you know what you are getting yourself into, but those are some large shoes to fill. Welcome back!
I noticed! It was also great to spend the weekend of Con with you and meet you in person. Loved Brainstorming the one faction with you and YK. Glad to see your enthusiasm hasn't waned. I know my frist Con got me to design two things and test one more, plus finish Johnny Quick! That's my secret...I don't wear any@Arkham Man, I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
