I am guessing there is not much chance of an axe wielding Papa Smurf design being approved but it certainly would be fun to workshop.

Actually @Tornado this shocks me a bit...as much as you love Dread I can't picture you skipping around the house playing with your smurf figures and singing along to a record of the smurf song...
Drats. My mom tossed out my Smurfs long ago. I bet those original figures would be worth some cash today.

I think Anthrax was my first exposure to Dredd as well, though I didn't get into Dredd any further until I started up with C3G. Never was into the Smurfs, though.
For me, it was all about superheroes and Star Wars for most of my existence. I was a Batman fan at an age when the closest I could come to saying Batman was "Buh-dah".

There's nothing wrong with enjoying wildly different things.
This section of the forum is a custom project designed to add comic book superheroes to a collectible miniatures game. Trust me, we're all nerds.

Dysole's actually coming on in a very special role as well. He'll be joining dok in that role and possibly two others. I'm going to wait to hear from the before announcing any details in public, though (or, you know, getting the Promotions guys to tell you guys for me!).

And I think I have an inkling of what that is. Glad something's going through on that front.
According to the way people use hashtags on twitter, yes! There is actually a slight tendency to associate geekiness more with pop culture things and nerdiness slightly more with academia (chart form).
