I'm wondering if we should tweak the language on Fog Cover to be closer to where we're going with the Fog Hazard, where it removes hit zones rather than saying "no clear sight" so that potential stuff that grants clear sight without considering hit zones has a clear interaction.

I remember basing the wording here off of Invisible Woman. I'm okay with whatever though, what you're saying makes sense. I just think we'd need to update it everywhere we have invisibility like effects.

Invisible Woman can move through all characters and is never in clear sight of enemies.

Another potential solution would be to have the Clear Sight ignorers something like "XXX does not need clear sight for its abilities and attacks".

Yeah, I think it's mostly just the stuff that shuts down clear sight on allies that runs into issues, so change may not be needed on most stuff. I mostly thought of it here because it's covering the same thematic territory as the fog, only the fog hazard shuts down allied stuff, requiring the change.

How would that impact a unit like Daredevil?

It's a good question. If an ability says a figure has no hit zone, it's preventing Daredevil from getting clear sight on them, but possibly in a roundabout enough way as to muddle how exactly his ability works. I do like that the way his ability works right now he can't shoot through walls, so I'm hesitant to give up on that part.

This is starting to feel like the whole Aquaman turn terrain on and off chat where whenever I pulled at the ball of yarn it unraveled a bit more ....

Also checking here for a water reference and didn't find one. Any interest in adding an aquatic terrain modifier here to match other electric themed attacks?
