Changes from 1.0:
- Class to Criminal
- Electric damage type on the Special Attack
- Reduced the range on Blinding Rain to 4, to match Fog Cover’s range. This is a very slight nerf but keeps the defensive powers the same range. The special attack stays at range 5 like it was in 1.0.
- Stealth symbol since Blinding Rain granted Stealth anyway

I'll lobby for increasing Fog Cover to 5 spaces to match Blinding Rain and the SA range, rather than reduce Blinding Rain to match Fog Cover. I'm a big fan of this card, but he's very easy to take down and the 13+ misses quite often. Bumping up the range of Fog Cover won't change his price IMO.

I guess I haven't been paying attention, has every blurb just been a copy and paste of the previous bio?

Yeah, I’ve been copying and pasting the bios for the most part. I’m not really interested in writing a new blurb for every conversion I do.

I think that would raise his price personally. Weather Wizard is quite strong for his points with a double attack of 4 and the Fog Cover providing some defense for his entire team. Blinding Rain is a more niche power so I figured lowering the range by 1 wouldn’t really change how he plays. If you’re dead set against that change, I’d have the ranges on his auras not match before upping Fog Cover’s range, IMO.

Secret Identity should just be Identity and Uniqueness should come before Species

Blinding Rain could just say Allies.

Tweaks:

LIGHTNING RE-STRIKE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 5. Attack 4. Electric.
Weather Wizard may attack the same figure up to 2 times with this special attack action. For the second attack, he has +1 Attack for each space the defender moved this activation. The defender does not have to be within range or clear sight of Weather Wizard for the second attack.

I like the matching auras and definitely don't want to increase the aura on Fog Cover.

Updated with that wording.

Please speak up if you have an opinion on the ranges of the special powers, or any other tweaks. And let me know if I need to start rewriting bios. But for now,

I propose for final editing

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - vote to final editing

I like the 4/4 for the passive effects and the 5 for the special attack ranges. I'm going with my aesthetic for the bios I write, but I'm not here to police how others do it. Especially with something as non-consequential as bios.

yea for final editing

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - vote to final editing

yea I'm good with the numbers as is

yea

I don't want to see the little blurbs turning into novels like what happened to bio's in 1.0. It's easy to keep that in check by just starting from scratch with a) not calling them bio's anymore, and b) making a 2 sentence maximum the norm with only a few odd 3 sentence outliers. 4+ sentences should never be done IMO. Keeping it very short and simple makes it easy. Especially since their really aren't any hard rules on what it needs to cover. It can just be a quote from a comic that you find interesting. Or a quick line about what drives/motivates the character. An action phrase, a description, or just something silly.

Card Up. Let me know if anything changes.

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - final editing

Thanks Japes! Will leave this here for a minute in case anyone has wording thoughts, then probably propose to on deck this evening.

Sounds good. Wording changes won't take much time but I wanted to get the bulk of the work done while I had time.

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - final editing

You've got "an" non-adjacent attack in there. LGTM otherwise.

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - final editing

Thanks Ronin, I fixed that in the OP. Moving to Art.

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - vote to on deck

yea

Re: Weather Wizard (Mark Mardon) - vote to on deck

OP thing - Uniqueness above Species

Other than potential double frame, yea
