Top 5 Anime Shows

I don't watch much anime but I'll have to say:
1. DBZ
2. Hellsing
3. Full Metal Alchemist
4. Inuyasha
5. Yu-Yu-Hakusho

#3, 4, and 5 are really in no particular favorite order, and DBZ and Hellsing are practically tied with DBZ ahead slightly.

1. Bleach
2. Full Metal Alchemist
3. Trigun
4. Naruto
5. Pokemon???

Meh, I don't really watch anime all that often.

But Bleach still beats Naruto. Except for the Soul Society/Rescue Rukia Arc.

#1. Ruroni Kenshin. That show was AWESOME!
#2. Princess Mononoke (or however you spell it) It didn't have all of those anime cliches in it.
#3. DBZ. It's in my blood. I've watched it sence I was a little 'un.

The other two are up in the air. Naruto was cool, and I liked laputa, but I didn't really ever love them like Kenshin and Mononoke.

Okay, its been a while, but I just saw the first episode of a new comic anime I liked on Anime Channel (I have Spectrum on which its Channel 1003), which posts their episodes up weekly at Midnight on Wednesday/Thursdays.

Level 1 Demon and One Room Hero is a satire on the old Sword Hero and His Party Fight The Demon King in a fantasy world where different races coexist. In the first episode the good guys make the ultimate fight against the giant horned Demon King (which usually takes an entire series to build up to) who vows to reincarnate and return to fight them again, and then expires.

Cut to TEN YEARS LATER. The Demon King comes back "early" as a little horned, three eyed girl in a sailor uniform to fight the hero. She/he journeys to the human continent, flying on her pretty butterfly wings (!) only to find that the nemesis hero is now an older drunken bum living in a pigsty of a one room apartment. The human world is now like modern Japan, and has no use for the hero, who has totally hit the skids!

So the Demon King moves in with him to smarten him up and get ready for a rematch...

That sounds fun. Anime really goes out there. I watched one recently that was about a samurai vending machine.

Thread resurrection eh? After so long my top ten has probably changed a lot, although some have definitely maintained their spots since the early 2000s.

No particular order:

1) Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
2) Crest of the Stars/Banner of the Stars series
3) Neon Genesis Evangelion
4) Now and Then, Here and There
5) Infinite Ryvius
6) Twelve Kingdoms
7) Noein: To Your Other Self
8) Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
9) Vision of Escaflowne
10) Probably a competition between the original Last Exile and the Record of Lodoss War franchise.

Konosuba, Irresponsible Captain Tyler, Rahxephon, Gall Force, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and the original FLCL are long time favorites of mine as well.
