The Book of Swordsman

Re: The Book of Swordsman (Hold)

Looks pretty awesome! The hitzone doesn't match now, not sure if that's a problem or not.

Re: The Book of Swordsman (Hold)

Thanks FG :)

Can you clean up his one side a little bit from under his armpit down the side of his ribs as it looks a little halo ish. Also, the hitzone image needs to match the new mini position.

Re: The Book of Swordsman (Hold)

As A3n-in-proxy my biggest criticism would be his sword and forearm - they seem fuzzy, could use better edge-trimming/smoothing/what have you.

That's the focus on the mini picture I believe, I'm not sure how much can really be done to fix that on my end without making it look pretty artificial.

Otherwise, cards updated.

Unfortunately, when there is a gun or a sword in this case that is closer to the camera than the rest of the mini, the focus will be on one or the other. So it will either be sharper for the closer object and fuzzier for the larger object behind, or fuzzy on the smaller part that closer and sharper on the bigger part in the back.

I don't know if there's anything that can be done on FG's part. If A3n has any tips or secrets he can share when he gets back, then he can let FG know I guess. I'm not in a great hurry, but want it off the table so to speak shortly after A3n gets back.

Re: The Book of Swordsman (Hold)

I meant around the borders in particular - it's naturally going to be fuzzy, but the edge has some white on it. Not sure if it's anything that could be fixed, but I figured I'd bring it up.

Re: The Book of Swordsman (Hold)

Ah, okay. I'll trim it a bit more. There's a bit on the arm that looks like it's still part of the arm, just the light shined on it a bit differently enough that it looks almost white. That may be a decent part of what you're seeing, but I'll trim the rest down a bit.

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Vote for On Deck

Looks great FG! :D

I propose Swordsman move to On Deck

Looking for A3n's approval

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Vote for On Deck

It'a already on deck. We just need A3n's approval.

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Vote for A3n's approval :)

I was just double checking for certain that it looked good to everyone else too :)

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

Yep. I'm good as long as A3n is. :)

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

I actually now think it's the background that is putting me off, it's too low in quality.

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

Well that should be easier to fix than the mini pics, hopefully!

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

Just so you're all aware, I am looking for background art but haven't found much. Turns out there's not a lot of good circus pictures that don't have a ton of people in them, so... if you guys see any, it would be great if you could post it here. I'll keep looking, but just in case you guys find any.

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

I scrounged up a few. THIS one might be a bit plain/too far, THIS one might be too high, and THIS one is, well, from a video game. Maybe you can do something with 'em.

Re: The Book of Swordsman -Looking for A3n's approval

Wow, that looks WORLDS better with a crisper background.

I take that as being approved, so I updated the thread title and this is good to go.

Thanks FG!

EPB

No issues.

Great combo of abilities with a lot of flexibility. Both ranged and normal attacks are attractive options.

I wonder if he carries his sword in his Jacques Strap?
