C3G STORY CARD RULES
C3G Story Cards add a new layer to your games, allowing you to change up the situation on the battlefield in new and exciting ways.
1. Drafting Stories:
Story Cards, like Army Cards, have an associated point cost listed on them. Story Cards are drafted in the same way as Army Cards. There is no limit (except point cost!) to the number of different Story Cards you can draft. However, you may not draft more than one of the same Story.
Unlike Army Cards, Story Cards do not have a figure that is placed on the battlefield. Instead, at the start of the game, place all of your drafted Story Cards front side up next to your Army Cards. Note: you may never conceal any of your Story Cards from other players.
2. Story Requirements:
Some Story Cards have Story Requirements listed on the front side of their card. At the start of the game, if the Story Requirements are not met, remove that Story Card from the game.
3. Story Setup:
Some Story Cards may ask you to perform Story Setup, listed on the front side of their card. These steps are performed after checking Story Requirements, but before doing anything else. Any conditions applied by the Story Setup are in effect for the entire game.
4. Story Rules:
After making sure you meet any Story Requirements and performing any Story Setup, flip the Story Card to its back side. Any rules listed on the back side of the Story Card are considered in effect for the entire game.
