The figure used for this unit is a modified HeroClix figure from the Hammer of Thor set.
Its model number and name is #058 / Gertrude Yorkes and Old Lace.​

Character Bio - Half pet, half guardian, Old Lace was one of many treasures that Dale and Stacey Yorkes, the time-travelling parents of Gert Yorkes, kept hidden from her. A deinonychus form the 87th century, she was genetically engineered to follow Gert's every command, and the two share an empathetic bond - when one feels happiness, so does the other. Unfortunately, the same is true for suffering. When Gert's life was cut short, Old Lace was nearly killed, but managed to recover and form a bond with her deceased companion's boyfriend, Chase Stein.

RUNAWAY'S COMPANION
At the start of the game, you may choose a Unique Runaway Hero you control to be Old Lace’s Companion. After revealing an Order Marker and instead of taking a turn with Old Lace’s Companion, you may take a turn with Old Lace. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

SWIFT CARRY
Whenever Old Lace is moved on your turn, you may choose an unengaged friendly small or medium figure adjacent to Old Lace. After you move Old Lace, place the chosen figure adjacent to Old Lace.

LEAP 12
Instead of her normal move, Old Lace may move up to 3 spaces with Leap. When moving with Leap, Old Lace has the Flying special power, but may not move up or down more than 12 levels in a single leap.

Looks good to me. :up: I like the focus on a big dinosaur mouth for the comic art... very evocative.

Technically this passes on time, but I'll tag @Yodaking anyways. I realize now I never send any emails or anything here, since it was a spin-off thread, and some people may not have noticed - sorry about that.

No other Heroes, in the interest of keeping you all free of notifications, though your input is always appreciated. :D

Looking at the bio, the etymology of the word 'master' is technically masculine, so the more correct word to describe Gert in relation to Old Lace would be 'mistress' - not sure how anal we want to get about that, though. Otherwise good. :up:
 
Hmm, that's a good point. In terms of a pet/owner relationship mistress seems odd, though. I feel like it's one of those corner cases where the technically incorrect options is preferable for flow.
 
I'm about 7 issues in now and companion seems better than master/mistress anyways. Good call.

PLUS it goes better with the power called Runaway COMPANION.
