THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: She’s going to be a lynch-pin figure in water/Atlantean army, while also offering a lot of versatility with Aquakinesis. Balance-wise, she feel fine to me. Aquakinesis is good, but D20 reliant and that keeps it in check. I underestimated the strength of the Atlantean faction, and pitted them against some slightly weaker armies in the third and fourth games. Even given that, with the strength of the faction and the potential for it to become even better with the addition of the other Aqualad and/or an Atlantean squad, I’d like to see her cost raised slightly, or the range on LoA lowered to 4.
GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: Very cool, and offers a few different strategies. I didn’t use LoA for the Attack boost at all, but I played more conservatively with Aquaman. Playing more aggressively with him, to get the later Attack boost would also be a valid strategy, especially as more Atlanteans are added. Very fun! I really like the way she’s turned out so far.

Spoiler Alert!
Fairly close for as poor luck as the FF had. Reed's luck was terrible, and Aquaman's was good. Mera only dealt a couple wounds, but she was instrumental in this win. She moved Thing into a terrible spot, essentially removing him from the game temporarily. She also moved Sue to a spot where Namor could hit her for 4 wounds. With Reed's luck, he was forced to move in to stay next to Sue, but from there, Aquaman was able to hit him. Aquaman got 4 skulls, Reed rolled a single shield out of 10, and that was pretty much the game.
Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes).R7T2: Namor with 5/6 wounds, Aquaman with 1/5.

I lost my other notes on this one, but from what I remember, it was basically a reverse of the previous one. Mr Fantastic rolled well all the way through and it was a struggle for the Atlanteans. Mera had a big target on her back, and went down early, thanks to Human Torch. Torch also ended Tempest's threat before he could do much. Aquaman and Namor made the best of the things, but they were playing from behind.

Spoiler Alert!
Batman brings the Smoke Pellets, Goggles, and Shurikens.
This one was largely Aquaman's win. He essentially took down Shiva, Gamora, and Batman on his own. Namor was mostly a woundsoak, taking a ton of attacks from Gamora. Mera added a lot of defense dice, and Tempest plopped water down on the height, and that just made a perfect situation for Aquaman.

With one exception (Mera one-shotting Spider-Man), everything was going the way of the Crime Fighters in the first few rounds. They set K-A up next to a wounded Hydro-Man so he was boosting their rolls, Spider-Girl was preventing turns, and they took Mera down early. They struggled more with Aquaman, but they still managed to take him down without any more losses. After that though, Namor was unstoppable, finishing off Cage, then taking down Spider-Girl, then Robot. Scarlet Spider missed his Spidey-Sense rolle both times, and went down like a chump, which just left K-A, who basically had no chance.
