The figure used for this unit is a Heroclix figure from the Superman set.
Its model number and name are #042 / Lobo.

Character Bio - Lobo is a Czarnian with exceptional strength and fortitude. He enjoys nothing better than mindless violence and intoxication. Killing is an end in itself; his name is Thusly for "he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it." He is also arrogant and self-centered, focusing almost solely on his own pleasures, although he proudly lives up to his word – but exactly his word: no more or no less than what he promised. Lobo is the last of his kind, having committed complete genocide by killing all the other Czarnians for fun. Lobo unleashed a violent plague (a hybrid of flying scorpions) upon his homeworld, killing most of its citizens. Once, Lobo nonchalantly told Superman the fate of his race: "I'm the last Czarnian. I fragged the rest of the planet for my high school science project. Gave myself an A."

BIG BASTICH BOUNTY HUNTER
At the start of the game, choose an opponent's Unique or Event Hero to be Lobo's Bounty. Lobo rolls two additional attack dice when attacking his Bounty.

HOOK, LINE, AND MASSACRE
Before attacking, if Lobo is not engaged, you may choose one small or medium figure within 3 clear sight spaces whose base is not higher or lower than 10 levels from Lobo's base. Roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 9 or higher, place the chosen figure on any empty space adjacent to Lobo. The chosen figure will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

BLAH, BLAH, HEALING FACTOR, BLAH
Before taking a turn with Lobo, you may remove 1 Wound Marker from this card.

Ok, his sub-title isn't going to fit. :D

Does he really have healing? It's not something that I remember of him.

Other then that. Nice solid, simple design. :up:

? You didn't want to do anything for the dog? Nor include his space bike?

Cool. :cool:

He looks like a beast with Healing Factor. The main thing that will keep him in check is being a ground pounder.

The Secret Identity is pretty funny. :) I'm curious to see how that will look on the card.

Would you be able to separate the dog from his base? Might be cool to do a follow up design with him.

Hook and Chain looks like a modified Chain Grab. You made it a requirement to be unengaged, which seems reasonable and gave it a little more range to it.

Subname - make it fit, that is his name :p

Healing - he is a parody of Wolverine, so healing is a big part of him

Space Bike - there is a figure with the space bike. I am not interested in that at all, that is why I chose this figure and not the other

Dawg - he is very easily removed from the base and is not attached to Lobo directly. I plan on giving him his own design but I don't like the idea of having multiple figures on a single base (the one civilian was the exception, and it was out of necessity)

:lol: It does seem like you could just use a couple lines and possible make the text smaller. Really, the name is a funny little nerd trivia that I think people will really like learning/remembering.

Maybe his attack should come down to 6. He isn't as strong as Superman I, and with his Bounty added, he definitely shouldn't be stronger.

Yeah, I think that's fine. That way he can match Superman when his Bounty is Superman.

Cool idea. :D I am also gonna do Ace the Bat-Hound at some point too, using the Mercy figure from Brave and the Bold.

I don't believe it's his name but more of a title like "The Man of Steel", & we certainly didn't include that on Superman's card.

No, it actually is his name translated from Czarnian. His name is unpronounceable so it has only ever been said/written in English.

So what about price? 370-430?

Defense of 6 (or 7 vs. Bounty) and healing will keep him around for quite awhile.

I remembered seeing the Bounty Hunter power on Silver Sable's write up in the Mercenary thread.

I wonder if we couldn't do something like this for the power since there could be others. Thematically any Bounty Hunter should be able to collect right? :)

BOUNTY HUNTER
At the start of the game, choose an opponent's Unique Hero and place the white Bounty Marker on the chosen figure's card. Lobo and all other figures you control with the Bounty Hunter special power roll an additional die when attacking or defending against a figure with one or more Bounty Markers on its card.

So for each figure with the Bounty Hunter special power you get to pick one Bounty. Then they're boosting each other by widening the pool.

That would have to have a different name GP as Jonah Hex
already has the Bounty Hunter power, the one I used for Silver Sable :D

I think a Bounty Hunter scenario could be really cool, GP ... (Maybe the "prize" for a Bounty Hunt could be an equipment glyph to take on to the next level of a campaign?)

I guess for a Bounty Hunter scenario you could have scenario specific markers (could just use some generic markers) to mark the Bounties and then have all the Bounty Hunters get a Bounty Hunter boost for any figure with the marker on it. Could be a competition thing where Bounty Hunters collect the bounty markers and the one with the most at the end is the MVP of the Bounty Hunters.

That sounds fun. :D I was thinking the markers could be little bullseye symbols. Maybe your Bounty Hunter gets +1 attack for each collected Bounty Marker, like Tagawa Samurai Experience Markers.

Or maybe all the targets can have Equipment Glyphs that they can't lose unless destroyed and the hunters can claim them as prizes when they destroy them. Then basically whichever figure has the most Equipment glyphs at the end wins (so we'd have to make no limit on equipment glyphs equipped part of the scenario rules).
Anyways, major /hijack. :p
