Yeah, good call. And, anyway, in order for the fluctuations to feel like fluctuations, you really need a "state of rest" in between.

Yes, got my map reset and heavy hitters picked out last night. I will post today who I am planning to run her against.

Got Heavy Hitter and Squad tests done but won't be able to post until tomorrow. I have anothe busy day at wok today. Then my sister's fiance is having an open house I need to attend. I will get those up tomorrow. I hope to will finish the army tests tomorrow night (Sunday).

Well, Blob was a tough customer for her, but he usually is for anyone. I am still iffy on some of my input, so I will hold off on anymore for now.

OK, my busy schedule finally got to me, so I was unable to gather together all my playtest results. I will post who she fought though by posting an incomplete Playtest Sheet.

C3G PLAY TEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Jewel
- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
Pass.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.
Pass.

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.
Pass.

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak.
Pass.

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
Pass.

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
Very fun, one of the simpler units to play. This has actually made me think perhaps we should rate the units by complexity. Make a Thread that rates them so people know which designs are really complicated and which designs aren't. :2cents:

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
Pass. Yes she was fun. Although my 20-sided luck seemed to work against her rather than for her.

- DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting.
Pass. Yes because we have units near this amount but only one other (C3G) Unique Hero at that cost.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass. Psychic Vulnerability is a nice small dash of flavor where her other powers are used every turn.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
Yes, she is interesting because she can be a Heavy or she can be a light weight.

- Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Yes, very fun to play. Actually I enjoyed playing her more in HH tests than army tests. 160 seems good.

- Army Test/ Does it pass, Yes or No? What should be the unit's point value? Give a brief summary. Yes, in a map covered with Heavier Hitters, she was worth her points only because she was essentially fodder to cover for her two teammates. I think 160 is perfect because she was not even close to the value of what she had been in previous tests and coincedentally, she also never successfully rolled to boost via Power Fluctuation.

Units: Thor, Hulk, Jewel, and Civilians x1 (1005) vs. Gorilla Grodd, Martian Manhunter, Flash, and Hawkgirl (1000)

Overall she is a really, simple yet very fun design. I really liked how she came in low costed but could easily be worth more than her points with some 20-sided luck. I think she will be a fun add to any Avengers builds.

Looking forward to the details, but 160 doesn't look too bad so far. :) Any issues arise with her design?

Not yet, but I am witholding judgement until she goes up against a Telepath.

Oh, I definately will, I was just waiting until I am done to answer them. You know, in case my opinion changes.

Cool. :) Good stuff. Also, in your voice message, you asked if there were any specific army combos you should try with her. Really she's pretty bland on the synergy front, so I think really just add her to any army that she seems like she'd be fun in. You already tested her psychic vulnerability in one army test, so I don't think it's really necessary to worry about in the second unless you want to.

Playtest is finished and updated. After the first Army test I thought maybe her cost should be raised, but she was pretty much manhandled in the second one. BTW, Hulk and Thor is a SIC team!

Yeah, Hulk and Thor is pretty sick, though I look forward to seeing if new Hulk and Thor are any sicker!
Thanks for running the tests, Spidey. :) I think we've had plenty of time to look over all but the last test and everything looks in order to me, so I'm going to go ahead and propose we move Jewel to ERB.
