The Adventures of Chedwick and Sven Comics!

After long deliberation and procrastination The Adventures of Chedwick and Sven have finally come to Heroscapers!
In conjunction with Caterpillar Films I have created a new branch of entertainment for the growing company: Comics!
Along with Caterpillar Films creators Michael Savisky and Josiah Fiscus we have worked tirelessly to bring you these comics.
The quirky but often enlightening adventures of Chedwick and Sven, the unlikely duo of Marro Drone and Viking, shall be brought to you through this thread.
We shall be uploading a new one every week so stay tuned and enjoy the ride!

I would like to get a feel for what people like
so please head over to my gallery and vote for your favorite comic.
Rate each comic so I will begin to get a feeling for what everyone likes around here.

Can you make it a little bigger?

I am having trouble attempting to do this in photobucket. In email form it is huge an awesome, but when put onto photobucket it made it small. Any clue on how to fix it?

There we go, how's that? Now I need to try and figure out how to submit this to an album on this website

Photobucket may be downsizing it.
How big is it?

Yea photobucket downsized it. But I made it a little bigger. The size it is in thsi thread should suffice. I perosnally don't like having to scroll over to read stuff but at least now there is no missing anything. I also added the picture to my album in the gallery. I was wondering if anyone new how to create a gallery specifically in the humor section, or do the admins do that? Thanks

I am debating whether or not to make the first week something special and release a couple of the comics, just to make sure a fan base is established and it gives people some stuff to look at and to look forward to.

What do you think? Should I release 2 more comics and call it a lucky day, or make everyone wait a week before the next one is released? Either way after this I will only release one a week unless some other special event occurs.

And spread the word, I hope to make this series a continuous and regular thing

Nice work on this, Gam.

I've been wanting to do something similar for quite a while, but never find the time to be able to put one together. But you've done really well with this set up.

Once a week would be cool. Don't kill yourself doing them. If anything, if you were to get on a roll with them, finishing a few in a short amount of time, you could just save them for a regular release schedule. Just continue to focus on humor that is relevant to the game and the characters in the comics. Quality before quantity, you know?

I decided to spoil everyone. Enjoy this first group of comics. I think this group gives a nice look at the kind of comics we're making. I will now continue the release of the comics on a weekly schedule (unless something else forces me to release more). So enjoy these, spread the word, and let me know what you think!

Looks really good. Who are the geniuses behind this modern marvel? Do the people at the Wonders of the World committee know about this? Why isn't the New York Times doing a front page article?

Why thank you, we will be continuing to make them and release them. I am thinking of releasing a two-part series one next week for ya'll. :D

Keep spreading the word and go rate your favorite comic over at the gallery!

These are hilarious, and continue to be very well done.

I do have a question, though. How do you go about lighting the scenes? I'm assuming you do a little post work on the pictures themselves in a graphic editing program. Which program do you use?

By the way, I believe my favs thus far are 1, 3, and 4.

We used ceiling lights for the first couple, as well as some lamps and such. The most recent ones we filmed them all outside because it was a beautiful day. All those pics are from natural sunlight. We use some comic program but I can't remember what it is called, I'll have to ask the man himself... We added the little clouds, the jumping lines in Flash, but I think that's all we did post work-wise. Most of the stuff is either on the the comic program itself, or just a testament to Mike's awesome camera.

Any other questions feel free to ask. I'll try to contact my friend about what program we use. Keep up the comments and don't forget to go rank and vote for them in the gallery (whenever you find time away from being excited about the wolves of badru) Thanks!
