We still use those for civilians, HYDRA and AIM agents, Kree, Skrulls, SHIELD Agents 5th Precinct and ... MODOK. We use to use a ton of them but as we get new figures we phase out the paper ones.
Yes they were. The plastic ones are more of a wishful thinking...Like one day I decided to play the lottery and I win and decide to live on an island and play heroscape on a beach so I want plastic cards kind of thing.

For up to 15 copies of a deck of 234 cards (the Max size) it would come out to about $30 per deck and about $20 for a deck of 144 and that includes shipping from my house to yours in US.
I think for everything it would take 2x234 card deck (Max size) + 1x144 sized deck which would be about $80. So essentially I would need 4 people to want this to reach magic number to reduce shipping charges.

Spidey shipping to you would be easy...once my arm heals I could probably throw them to you. Portability, access and storage is key for us. My 1st grader likes to lug the binder around the house and have me read cards to him. As a penmenship exercise I once had him go through the book and make a list of the figures he wanted.
Yoda, I really want to get into the Star Wars world but that is a whole new world and would be an expense I can't get into yet. I use to love the Star Wars Battlefront game and I envision quite often lately a Heroscape version of that but it would mean lots of purchase of troopers and rebels and droids.
For the record...since this was for myself I have only created the comic version.

Just did a quick count...so released figures + glyhps + (additional) 4x14 Uncommon Heros = 652
2x234 + 1x180 = 648 so we can probably do with a few less uncommons for some
180 card decks are $2 more than the 144 card deck at this rate so essentially $82 for a complete set of C3G cards.

It's all good. I'm willing to adapt to the preferences of those who are interested. If we take it one deck at a time, I'd be fine w/ that and easier to budget into my "hobby-balance." That said, if this plays out I'd be planning to get every card before it's all said and done.

we can do a combo some can get one deck at a time and some can get everything...as long as I get a grand total over $350 and the decks can be standardized it will be fine. Right now I easily have two 234 decks worth completed as of now. You get better deals with the larger decks but if it's easier to customize I could break it up into smaller chunks and it's still cheaper than artscow

Ditto. I'd also be willing to work out some minis for cards trades. I have lots of minis, but I need cards.

Unlike several years ago when I built the first one this time I have a garage.

The white buttons will be lit by Blue LED's to mark the buttons used in each game.
