Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Centennial Park

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Arkham Asylum

Made a new map for some fun in the jungle:

WAKANDAN MINE OUTPOST - 2 RotV, 2 FotA and 1 TJ

Eventually I plan on trying my hand at designing the interior of a vibranium mine and some kind of scenario that uses both maps.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Arkham Asylum

 Good! I was going to say, this calls for a scenario!

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Mine Outpost

Sweet map, a mine interior would be cool.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Mine Outpost

I definitely love the whole two maps with exterior/interior maps concept for maps.

Yeah, me too. Like the story telling/campaign element to it. First fight outside vs. the outside guards, win that battle and go inside to fight whoever is there.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Mine Outpost

Thanks, guys. Whenever I eventually build the physical version, I'll probably toss some more jungle on the jungle side of the map, but I wanted to limit this version to a single Ticalla Jungle set to try and make it more accessible.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Vibranium Mine

Made the interior section of my Wakanda map, the vibranium mine itself:

WAKANDAN VIBRANIUM MINE - 2 RotV, 2 BftU and 2 FotA

It's designed so that the minecart tracks (road spaces) line up with the mine entrance from the outdoor half of the map, allowing some mad 'Scaper with a ton of terrain and table space to combine the two into one enormous map.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Vibranium Mine

 You talkin' to me? Well, I'm mad enough to approve this ProtoCampaign once its ready for the New York City Gang of Four, with six to eight hungry players per game!

Wakandans vs Atlanteans? Shield vs Hydra? Classic/Custom scape?

Believe it or not, I wasn't trying to make an oblique reference to you. Between us, we easily have enough terrain to make both maps at once, but I'm not sure your game table, even with the extension, would fit it.

Re: Sherman Davies' Comic Maps - Wakandan Vibranium Mine

We could always play one map at a time, with two games on each per session. Although I did fit all five DnD rooms at once on the table for example, which is why I bought multiple Underdark sets back in the day. We can measure the boards and the table some time.

I wasn't assuming you meant me, just hoping! We always enjoy your Supers and other maps here; I saw half a dozen of them we've played in the Map Library when hunting for maps for next week.

Made a map for Centennial Park, the Metropolis version of New York City's Central Park and the location of the city's Superman memorial:

CENTENNIAL PARK - 2 RotV, 3 Marvel and 2 RttFF

I also made an alternate, more colorful version for anyone who owns enough lava sets:

CENTENNIAL PARK - 2 RotV, 5 VW and 2 RttFF

That's pretty cool. Would be great to get a little Superman statuette or spraypaint a smaller Superman action figure gray or something to put in the middle of that.

Yeah, I was thinking if I ever build this map I might put this guy on it:
