ScapeCon East is a 4-day HeroScape convention brought to you by the organizers of ScapeCon. It is a smaller, cheaper convention in New Jersey, with a focus on approachability.

Unlike ScapeCon, meals are not provided (although the hotel provides free breakfast for those who stay in the hotel, and there's free water and coffee). Your badge covers all your gaming (and the cost of the prizes). The prizes will be ScapeCon 2024 dice and order markers.

Rough Driving Distances:
Boston: 5 hours 15 mins
Philly: 45 minutes
DC: 3 hours

Convention Page on Heroscape.org:
Player Cap: 36 players

Rooms: $102 a night with free breakfast (comes to about $116 with tax all-in). You must book your room by October 8th to get the group rate.

Hotel Cost for the Ballroom: None as long as our group books 10 hotel rooms a night.
If we don't book at least 10 hotel rooms a night, those who are not staying in the hotel, or who are staying in the hotel with more than 2 people per hotel room, will be charged a surcharge to cover the cost of the ballroom. At a maximum, this would be the cost of the additional hotel rooms we would need to rent (and this extra charge would still be less for each individual charged than if they had to get their own room). If necessary, we will try to negotiate down the price with the hotel.

Badges: $50 if you are staying at the hotel and are staying 2 to a room.
$65 if you are not staying at the hotel, or if you are the 3rd + person in a hotel room.

Payment Instructions and Room Block Code: These will be sent out on September 1 via heroscape.org.

Refunds:
I'd ask that you let us know as soon as you know you can no longer make it. We can issue refunds for your badge.

We raised the cap to 36 people. We have exactly 1 spot remaining. Sign up on the .org page if you want to attend (first come, first serve for that final spot; note that 3 people have yet to sign up on there but have their spots reserved for the time being). Anyone else may be added to the waitlist.

Sign up on .org. There is a ScapeCon discord which has more info including a hotel room channel where you might be able to find a roommate (people were looking for roommates). Once you sign up OEAO will provide you with the hotel link so you can book your own room using our group code. I believe you have to reserve the room by Oct. 7 or 8 in order to get the discounted room rate.
 
Thanks Dragon Ruler. A fellow scaper who is attending sent me the discord. I've messaged OEAO on discord. I'm currently waiting on him to respond.
 
Hello I just joined the Scape con East event
How do I get access to the discord for this.
And does anyone still need a room mate or should I just book
MY room
 
Can someone help Dragon out with the discord link? I do not have the technical competence to do so. Once you join the discord server you will see the hotel room channel to post about a roommate.
