Join us for Scales & Scape 2: Delta Heat of Battle at Dragon's Hoard Game Store in Greensboro, North Carolina!
What? A 5-round, swiss, tournament. Each round will be 55-60 minutes. If, after 4 rounds, there is only one player who is 4-0, that player will be declared the champion, and a final 4th round will still be played (the 5th round will impact standings for everybody except the 4-0 champ).
When? September 28 from 12:30-5:30 PM. Map building will begin around 11:30. Check-in will begin around 12:00. First round will begin at 12:30 PM!
Where? A high-tier local game store: Dragon's Hoard (4645 W Market St Suite A2, Greensboro, NC 27407)
Cost? $5 (which will be used for prize support)
Format:
450 pts (Delta Points), 18 figures, 24 hexes (maximum)
Airborne Elite and Rechets of Bogdan count towards Figure Number
Classic figures only: No VC or Marvel units allowed
You may not spend more than 400 points on the same unit (10th Regiment of Foot x4 = not allowed)
Heat of Battle: Before the game, both players roll the D20; high roll may choose to place first or defer (meaning they place second).
Players alternate placing one card of their units on the board (a map's "start zones" are irrelevant for Heat of Battle). Squad figures must be placed next to other squad figures you placed that turn. You may not place figures on glyphs or adjacent to enemy figures.
The player who places second automatically wins initiative Round 1.

We will refer to OEAO's ScapeCon Rulings thread for some corner case rulings.
