Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.

I'm sure it's been answered elsewhere, but I can't find it for the life of me: I wanted clarification about when the only figures in your army are not on the board.

1. Airborne Elite. If your last figure is destroyed before the Airborne Elite drop, you lose correct? Even in a multiplayer game?
2. Ataraxis the Starlich. In a 1v1 game, if Ataraxis is on an opponent's army card, nobody is around to destroy her so I lose the game. What about in a free for all with multiple players? In a team game?
3. Vorid Glide Striker. Since you are guaranteed a placement every time you reveal an order marker on the strikers, my instinct says that you don't lose until all 4 have deployed and been destroyed.
4. Wing Commander Tuck Harrigan. I assume he would match the Airborne Elite's ruling, but wanted to include him here for completion's sake.
Victory conditions are checked at end of each player's turn. If a victory condition is "your opponent has no figures on the board" (which is the most common deathmatch victory condition) then you lose if any player's turn ends and you have no figures on the board.

In a multiplayer game then it depends on whether or not you're eliminated from the game if you have figures off the board and there is more than one other player or teammate still alive.

When a figure is attacking a Destructible Object, is the attack limited to the DO only if the figure has a power that normally affects more than on hex? In other words, can this attacker attack both the DO and other figures at the same time?

Can special attacks every been enhanced? Increase the attack value or range (if there is range)? Like a glyph or another army card power?

Ok…just promise us you won’t hold your breathe while doing the “wait and see”

Powers bend and break the rules, yes, but renegade’s republished rules and faq already have this golden rule. It’s practically set in stone.

From the current rule book:
Special Attacks: A figure with a Special Power that contains “Special Attack” in its name can use the described attack instead of making a normal attack during its turn. Special Attacks have Range and Attack Values like normal attacks, and follow normal attack rules except where modified. They are often modified by the Special Powers listed as part of their text, so read carefully to find out what makes the attack so special. Special Attacks can never be modified by Glyphs, other Special Powers, or Height Advantages.

From the current faq:

Special Attacks
Special attacks obey the following rules:

• Special attacks cannot be modified by any game effect except for their own text.

Which figures and what rules? Most of what has come out was designed by the War Council for Avalon Hill before their failed Haslab revival.
Figures like Xenithrax, Queen Maladrix, & Hellforge who figure extend beyond this base to a point they are blocking access to adjacent tiles next to them.
Iron Lich Viscerot, Oathbound Phalanx, & Queen Maladrix has a form of bonding that is from a unique hero to a squad where before AoA the only bonding was a from a squad to a hero.
Knight Primus Adelbren has a power that only needs to be adjacent where normally a special power used against an adjacent figure required all figures also be on the same level.
Finally Raelin the Kyrie Warrior 4.0 Swoop power... oh this is a totally game breaker as this make Raelin to move more that 14 space or make a special attack against a figure that she didn't have clear line of sight with.

Huh? The vast majority of special powers that target adjacent figures do not require them to be on the same level.
I will check and if 75% (vast majority) doesn't require to be on the same level, then I over reacted. I was asked how the new figures were bending the rules and I gave examples.

And while the Raelin one is unthematic and an incredibly odd design choice, it doesn't break any rules.
Do you know any figure that has the possibility to move up to 14 spaces when it not their turn without any roll needed? I was asked how the new figures were bending the rules and I gave examples.

Literally none of these are examples of bending rules. Some of them are examples of different design aesthetics. None of the things you have as being changed were ever expressed as "rules" though. And many of them have actual precedent (Stinger Denial?).
That said, in what universe do y'all want designers to only do things that have precedence in the game? How tiny of a box do you want to place them in as designers? If you want content to keep spilling out on one hand but then for them to never do anything new mechanically on the other hand, what exactly are you asking for? You can only put Counter Strike and Double Attack on so many figures before they're all just different character names slapped on the same thing.

Do you know of a Classic figure who has a type of bonding from a unique hero to squads? Why not have the Necrotech Wraithriders have a type of bonding with a unique hero? Why no make Hellforge be a 2 space figure? Why not have Xenithrax's tail be molded as not needing to take up more space and make her more playable (hate when I can only move her into certain spaces because her wings prevent her from moving into certain spaces)? Make Raelin 4.0 Swoop SA may take effect if a she has 6 clear line sight of a attacker that wounded one of allies (this better match her move of 6)?
Why not have a future glyph that increases only special attacks Attack Value or Range?
Stinger Denial? I never played where I would place a figure as to block access to a space for other players, I was more concern of making my own figure fit.

I think it's OK if you don't like some of the new designs. Your thesis that they break some sort of "rules" is just incorrect, though (maybe you just had poor word choice?).
I can't really comment on any of the new designs specifically as I don't really play Valhalla.
