Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - I remember when as a child I was reading it late at night and how I was thrilled :D
 
Goblet of Fire was easily the best. IMO, this book should and could have easily been made into two movies. The movie we have made light of Dobie and the entire Quidditch Cup part which was very nearly half the book.
