Alright, this is the 2nd time now I've seen someone use the previous LD's name as the link for the Legacy Design. We need to decided what the expectations are there with that section so we can all be on the same page. I don't have a preference, I just need to know if I have a bunch of links to update.

I've stuck to the character name for all of my links and support doing it that way. If they want to know the OG LD, they can click the link. :p

Oh, huh, good catch.

I was always thinking of it as the place to give the 1.0 LD a shout, hence it being in the 'credits' section.

I do think LDs deserve credit but I also still tout the "every LD is a collaborative design" mantra, so I'm iffy on needing to go all in on the shout outs like that.

Yeah, I feel that. An LD credit isn't an all-encompassing credit. Like acknowledging the director of a movie that several hundred people worked on. It still feels more substantive to me to give some attempt at a nod though. Just a unit name is... useful for archival purposes I guess, but it doesn't feel like much of a credit at all.

I guess I don't feel like I'm going all-in. I feel like I'm half-assing it because full-assing the credits just isn't feasible in this situation. :lol:

I have my preference, but I'll update with whatever the group decides.

I'm okay either way. Giving credit to the previous LD when someone else converts a design makes some sense to me though. Not as much when you are converting your own designs.

I'd definitely go "a" Parademon Shock Trooper in the first ability.

I don't know if AW really needs a second "timing" in it? You could just check dice -> inflict wound. Might want an SA restriction in there? Bigger deal if we plan to reuse it.

House style was singular species on squads in 1.0, but not attached to that.

If a Parademon Shock Trooper rolls all skulls during its normal attack, the defender receives 1 wound before rolling defense.

I'm not sure on the strike out portion. It could be interpreted that they just receive 1 wound and then the attack ends ignoring the rest.

I can see the reading-it-as-it-stops-the-attack thing, but I'd like to move toward an aesthetic of cards just working like they say. Ignoring the attack is an extra thing the ability doesn't tell you to do.

I like the "when" there to establish the trigger is when the dice are rolled. Good call. :up: Attack action timing, even with our added terminology, is such a weird morass of things.

I guess the only thing left here is finalizing the discussion on "damage die" for the first power. So no lets do the vote and then I'll hold it here until that's finished so Art doesn't have to be retouched later...

Yea and sounds good. I believe we're still wanting Arkham weigh-in on that in the Main Discussion area so at least all Heroes have had a voice before that change is made.

for sure. Which is why I didn't change it here. It was more a note to myself to not move it yet just in case. Trying to be respectful of Ark's time.
