Directly below the body of the post, in miscellaneous options, there should be a check box for 'automatically embed media'. Try turning that off.

I'm able to do so by copying the image URL and using the 'insert image' button.

We'll need more description of what's going wrong. Are there any error messages? Exactly what is or isn't happening? What's the process you are using to paste the images?

Glad it seems to be working. My guess as to what went wrong would either be the 'Automatically embed media' box got unchecked by accident, or html and vb got mixed somehow, which is what it looks like happened. The tag won't work with the <img> html in it.

I’m sure this has been addressed somewhere, but how does one go about the process of changing a username?

Usually pming an admin and asking works. Sometimes they'll change it to something crazy on a whim, though. Just never know ;-) We're basically talking about unchecked power here.
 
Is there an easier way to mention users without going to their profile to copy their four-digit "address" and then typing out the code? How do others typically go about mentioning another user?

Yes.

User CP>List Subscriptions (on the side panel, under 'Subscribed Threads')>Find the desired thread (it might be in a folder, sort folders with the drop down at the top)>select thread using the checkbox to the right>select 'Delete Subscription' in the bottom dropdown (should say something like 'Move to folder...' initially.

That should work.

I'm starting to play the new AOA Scenarios. During my fifth game, I came up with my first AOA Scenario FAQ question. But I couldn't find any thread where these will be answered in the Official Scape section. I'd be happy to start such a thread there or elsewhere, but I did see a reference to a Maps and Scenarios Questions thread. However, when I tried to go there, I got a Code 404 ("Not Available"). Any suggestions?

I see the old "Downloads" have changed to "resources" but when you go to download any file it only goes to "26955-solidscape_100_beta.zip" for all downloads.
