New AotP Expansion

This Sunday I'll be hosting a meet-up on the AotP Discord server (https://discord.gg/u2GMMmQWVh) to talk about making a custom expansion for AotP based on Zendikar, and a bit about future expansions. The idea is that this would be a community effort to produce new expansions for AotP, similar to C3V and C3G. If you have any ideas for units, spell cards, maps, etc. then please drop in. If you are interested but don't have any specific ideas, please do join the conversation and offer you're opinion. Together, we can make AotP have new content again!

The event will be from 7PM to 9PM GMT. Drop in at any point during this time.

We have a couple of designs ready for playtesting! Anyone that wants to jump in, please let us know!

For the future, we are looking forward to implementing artifacts, vehicles, equips, and the "evergreen" MTG concepts such as Flash, Vigilance, Menace, etc. And of course more spells, creatures, and dual-colored Planeswalkers!

It's an exciting time to fire up your AotP again!

Let me know if you're interested in discussing AotP, designing/playtesting customs, or playing AotP in general! Although it's going to somewhat depend on how expensive our entire expansion will be, I am planning to do some kind of giveaway or tournament prize handouts of at least some (if not one entire set) of our customs, shipping will likely have to remain in America, though. Stay tuned!

Just stopped by to say keep up the good work. I'm just getting in to AotP and looking for customs. Have recently bought a lot of minis to play the units from zackzeta.

Excited to see what you guys come up with.

Excellent! We are spending tons of time playtesting, it's been ongoing for 3-5 months now. Nearly all of the figures/army cards are ready, and I don't think spells will be too far behind.

After that, we have to come up with 1-2 scenarios, maybe add a glyph, and see what kind of terrain features/mechanics we want, and we can probably call it a release!

Very excited myself! I'd like to hold an online AotP tournament soon after the set is completed, and I think I'll ship out prizes in the form of the new figures and spells to some of the top players.

All in due time!
 
In today's stream we talk more about introducing exile into AotP, along with some funny interactions between "once per turn/game" abilities and the potential of creatures to repeatedly leave and/or enter the battlefield! Lastly, our new interactive terrain - hedrons - their size compared to other figures, and their effects!
