Sets: RotV x1, SotM x2
Type: Competitive
Note: the Glyph is meant to be the Glyph of Super Speed

I struggled with this a little, as I feel it doesn't quite represent Mogo as well as it could, but to do so it would require adding more sets; I decided in the end the less sets seemed the wiser choice.

It is a very large map, and that aspect alone made me hesitate about submitting it as a competitive map (I actually spent a lot of time going back and forth on this). But after looking at some other competitive maps, and realizing that Dark Dimension was actually 21 flying spaces from startzone to startzone, that Mogo's 20 wasn't so excessive (and on top of that, Mogo is much flatter than Dark Dimension and includes the Super Speed glyph); along with Icy Road's and Ravaged Road's 17 flying spaces from startzone to startzone.

I've played a handful of games on it, mainly focusing on slow moving walkers. While it does take time to get into battle, I never felt it slowed down the game much (battling always started about early in the second round). I also never found range abnormally dominating.

Let me know if I missed anything.

 from me. Love the theme. I think there is room in our repertoire for a large open map.

I love the theme too, and even though there isn't many L-O-S blockers, there seems to be lots of height on various parts of the map. Which is always a good thing.

Looks like a great map, I love the Lantern comics and Mogo is one of my favorites.

I would love to see a scenario with Mogo, YLs vs GLs, just like in the Sinestro Corps War, with Mogo actually fighting on the side of the GLs.

Glad to hear all the positive responses!

Smithy: I actually did consider this as a scenario map too, for thematic purposes, but I'm not much of a scenario maker.

Really cool map! :) If we ever do a Blackest Night campaign, that's a must have location. We need an Oa as well.

Its cool looking built as well but ya really need to see it from up height to get the most out of it.
Spoiler Alert!

Agreed, I wasn't set on it until I pulled a chair next to it and stood above it, where I could better see the symbol.

How did it build for you? Though I never had problems I was slightly worried about stability in a few areas.

Stability is good. I had my concerns when building it, especially under the SZ's but with the 7 Hex's on top it locks everything into place. It doesn't slide around great in that area but that's not a big deal.

Thanks, that's good to hear.

What are the rules for voting here? Does it happen in this thread? And how many votes does it take to pass?

Again, glad to hear all the positive responses!

Voting is in this thread and I think you need 1 more vote.

Yep, this is where it happens, so, so far you have:
A3N:
johnny139: Yea
Hahma:
quozl: Yea
Smithy Winfred: "Looks like a great map..." (I would take this as a thumbs up)

Now I personally think that a majority is enough but you are only Hahma's vote away really so we can wait. (It appears Taeblewalker has left the site for a while)

So... does this pass?

I'm perfectly fine with waiting if need be, I'm in no rush, I just don't want to be waiting when I shouldn't be and holding things up.
