Do I have to go through a process to claim a slot? I'd love to use one of these to convert Sacred Shrine.

well there isn't a waiting list yet and there is an open slot. SO I think just for process just state

I wish to use the community slot to convert Sacred Shrine
officially just to show the standard we need to use going forward in case public folks get excited for new maps

I wish to use the community slot to convert Sacred Shrine and so I shall. I'll get that going later today or tomorrow.

Moved Your Friendly Neighborhood into the open slot B here. I'd like to put Cell Games Arena in the queue if that works for folks.

Go ahead and jump me in line, please, unless someone else wants to start it. I can’t get to it quite yet.

Actually both slots should be open with YK wrapping up Conflict. I'll grab one of the slots.

Looking to run Island Plane Crash at some point. But I'm fine waiting if anyone has another map they want to run.

There is no one in line right now and Cell Games is also about to clear. I added you to the queue list regardless so if you are ready I'd say the runaway is clear.

Anyone out there that wants to run a map please post your intentions...even if you aren't completely ready right now we can start a line and you can just pass to the next person if you aren't ready and maintain your place in line.

Part of me feels like I should pick up a basic set of the Source tiles, then make a few maps using what is included. Giving people new to 2.0 a clear entry point for terrain and testing. But I don't really need more tiles. Maybe we can just try to make some maps in VS using only what is included in a Source set. Any thoughts?

4 - 24 hex tiles
4 - 15 hex tiles [7 hex + (4) 2 hexes]
72 - 1 hex tiles
18 - 1 hex tiles (blank)
36 water/lava tiles

Theme of the hexes (grass/rock/etc.) is based on what you order.

[Available themes: Fantasy Forest Desert Highlands Frozen Tundra]

Not sure exactly how the blank hexes work.

One of the reasons we list tile requirements in hexes and not just sets is for this reason. So as long as the map is built as a Heroscape map using the VS etc but uses that breakdown you have above I think it would be neat. Plus we need a few smaller maps. Most of our finished maps are pretty big :D

Yeah, I was thinking it wasn't a ton a hexes to work with. They sell trees and other stuff though, so I think we can still use trees and other DO's that are easy to make or source from other places. Not sure how good I am at making smaller maps though, our threat range is pretty big for some units.

Yeah, I'm toying with the idea of buying some Source terrain for the same reasons, but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet.
