Index of C3G Maps & Scenarios

That's a good one for sure, David, but it's Batman themed, not Daredevil themed, and I wouldn't mind seeing more twists and turns and shadow tiles used. :-D

One map I've always wanted to see but have never been able to figure out is a Rio de Janeiro map. You know, like THIS scene in the Incredible Hulk - lots of tight alleys and hills and a real maze-like atmosphere.

These posts earlier today got me inspired to tinker around with the virtual builder today. Here is what I came up with.

For the Hells Kitchen idea I limited myself to 1 RotV, 2 Marvel, 2 BftU, & 1 Castle set. Not sure if what I made really captures the Hells Kitchen idea but it still is an interesting little urban map. I built it as a competitive/mirror map concept.

The problem I found was that the BftU set just didn't come with enough shadow tiles to really make a shadow heavy map. Even when using the rock outcropping bases as just plain shadow, you only get 28 shadow tiles to work with and they can go quick.

I then upped the tile count for my next map attempt to 2 RotV, 2 Marvel, 2 BftU, & 2 Castle sets. This one ended up being a Rio themed map. This one is pretty close to a mirror map too but I think it might be better served as a casual map.

You can see here that I designed it with two, 15 hex start zones opposite each other at the bottom of the map/hill. Running straight down the center of the map it has a 2 hex wide stair case moving up the hill. In order to keep getting the advantage of high ground you have to keep moving up the hill as there are 3 different building top levels with each higher level further up the hill. Below is a side view.

Here you can see it has several narrow/hidden walkways to take advantage of. Plus non-fliers can move from the roof of the lowest building onto the higher terrace.

I like the second and third much better than the first, for sure. The first one's just not claustrophobic enough.

The 2nd & 3rd pic are the same map. I agree though, that one is much cooler then the 1st attempt.

I plan on having a C3G battle this weekend, and was wondering if I could get a suggestion for a 3-player C3G map without huge terrain requirements.

Thanks - Fi

That is a good question and answer. I'll add a 3 player map section to the first post.

Hold on there! Helicarrier isn't finished yet!

I added The Slums of Rio Scenario the other day.

Any other completed maps that have slipped by me?
