Index of 3D Printed Terrain Stl Files

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files

@Yodaking
The front page needs some updating. Most of my links are dead, but the files are now on thingiverse.

Also, I suggest we add "terrain" to the title of this thread, since it's the only thread dedicated to 3D printed terrain items.

New links:
Heroscape ice tiles (6, 4, 3, and 7 hex with grooves)
Heroscape Walls to make orthogonal buildings
Hexes (classic and road, 24, 7, 3, 2, and 1, RttFF bridge, and ice hexes)
Fortress pieces (WIP)
Heroscape Palm Trees
Heroscape Evergreen Trees
Heroscape glyphs

Keep the pictures.

Also delete the 2-6 height hexes and the twisted hexes. I'll upload them to thingiverse soon and post the new link.

You can also delete my custom trees and bushes.

Does anyone have a good link to the waterfall posted on the first page? Originally posted by srmalloy. I have 3-8 but cannot find where I saved the 2 high one. Thanks.

Anyone have any luck printing the 27 hex tiles? I'm curious how well it comes out and connects with the official tiles
My printer isn't large enough to print them. I know the 7 hex files work ok, and they use the same dimensions as the 24 hex, so I expect it to work as well.

But no, I've never verified it.

I have an ender 3 myself and so can't print 24 hexes so I haven't been able to test it either; I have had good prints for the 7s however
In the future I plan on getting a second printer with a larger bed, so at that point testing out the 24 would be an option

Has anyone found a good PLA filament that matches the standard HeroScape brown tiles? If so, perhaps that info could be added to the first post.

I can verify that Amazon Basics PLA Brown is NOT a good match. It is too dark.

esun PLA+ brown is pretty close

Hey guys! Starting my first foray into terrain printing, trying to print some Ticalla Jungle in resin. So far I've gotten the base hex and the tree trunk printed in grey resin well. Maybe a little wasteful to print terrain in resin but the detail looks great. I'm going to try to print the jungle tree toppers in translucent green resin, will post pictures if it turns out.

I was wondering if anyone had files for the other two Ticalla jungle trees? It looks to me like only the tall tree has been scanned. If that's all there is, that's fine, but it would be amazing to do like-official Ticalla Jungle.

No one has done the other trees yet.

I'll have to take a look and see how different they are. It will be easier if I don't have to scan everything.

Hey guys,
It's been a long time since I logged in here. Looking to get back into the game and start printing up some hexes. I'm trying to get my bearings but digging through several years of posts takes a bit lol.

Are there hex files that have been 100% tested to fit with the original tiles?

Did you look at the first post of this thread? :)

I did, which led me to this particular post on thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4778315/comments

However, there were comments of users saying they weren't quite sized right so I didn't want to jump ahead of myself without asking here.

No 3D printer is 100% exact but most hexes I've printed have been relatively good. That said these are the most recent updated fit ones WK has.

Hey there !

The waterfall 3D file link in the OP (uploaded to mega.nz) is broken, probably deleted by mega.
Anyone has it in its computer, so that we can upload it here and share again a valid download link ? :)

I know I have it saved on my home PC, I'll try to remember and get it uploaded somewhere in the next day or so.

Not to be alarmist, but there's a chance that with the relaunch and a renewed interest in protecting its IP Hasbro's lawyers might start serving Cease and Desist letters to stl host sites.

I'd recommend that anyone with an interest in 3D printing go ahead and download anything they think they might want in the future just as a precaution.

Good idea.

I wouldn't doubt they'd do this after thanking the community for using stuff like this to keep the game alive these past years. Not out of the realm of possibilities.
