HEROSCAPERS 2.0 issues, discussion

I don't see a way to cancel a reply. I clicked reply on the OP for a thread (so I could see the BB code for that post), and now every time I visit that thread it displays an active reply dialogue (complete with the quoted OP) at the bottom of the page. It looks like I can clear it out by deleting the contents. In-progress replies apparently persist until sent. That might be useful, but it would be nice to also have a cancel button.
 
I noticed that as well. Couldn't get it to go away unless I manually deleted the text.

Are the graphics here broken because of the new proxy link thing? Or is this piece of Heroscape history doomed to be lost to time given how Photobucket operates today?

I don't think I'm able to edit the original post of my Maps thread. I also can't find the downloads for any of my maps. Would appreciate any help! Thanks!

I can't help with the editing issue, but if you go into the Downloads section, try using the filter, entering your user name. When I did this, I got a long list of your download files and was able to access them.
 
I no longer seem to be able to search for specific posts within a thread.
Also, is there any news on the Codex Blog Posts being fixed, @Xorlof? There are one or two I could really do with having access to.
 
All the map download links on the BoV display thread are broken. Not sure about links in other threads.

Also I can't change my username until Dec 4757, not sure if that's a bug.

Edit: I can't get the download page for any map site-wide.

I imagine someone else has run into this, but just ran into it with one of my posts. Images are broken, that's not new, but when I edit the post the images are there. When I try to delete an re-instert them, I get an 'oops, something went wrong' error.

I ran into the character limit (65,000) in my map thread OP. I found ways to cut down to below the limit for my post, but this needs to be addressed - other threads/posts are going to run into this limit. Example: the OP for The BOOKS of C3V & SoV Index is over 140,000 characters long.
 
I'm having trouble accessing links.

Someone on Facebook posted a link to Lee Jun SOV, and I got an "Oops! We ran into some problems. You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." page.

Also, mac122 posted a link for me (https://www.heroscapers.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=4430 ) and I got the same "Oops!" message.

Also, my Project Pokemon Rules (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/resources/Project Pokemon Rulebook -- Draft 3.3245).

Not to mention that all my uploaded files are "file not found", but mac122 showed me how to change the path to find them--once we fix this "Oops!" issue.
 
Is there a way to change the text and background colors? The light colored characters on a dark field are straining my eyes and black characters on a white field is much easier to look at.

I also noticed some threads that have dark grey text on a dark background and it is very difficult to read those threads. I am not sure if this is an issue or not. But is it possible to set up a feature so you can multiquote? There has been numerous times where I've wanted to reply to multiple people, but it just isn't possible. Which then causes me to double or triple post, which I don't really like doing because it can become cluttered. I know other forums have a feature to multiqote and maybe I am just not seeing the option. Just figured I'd bring it up.

Click the Reply link on the posts you want to multi-quote.

I am having this issue as well. I can locate a few via the download section but it appears nearly all the links are broken and I can’t find most of the maps I need via the search function.
 
The url's changed with the site update. It seems the search is not working at this time. If you know who uploaded a particular map or other file, use the filter and enter their user name. I have been able to locate most of what I was looking for this way. The tricky part has been when one member created something, but another uploaded it.
