I kind of like the idea of having a connection between people and their characters in the sense that, if two players are really active like @HolyDiver and @kolakoski were today, then those two characters are kind of "more interested/engaged" in the particular interaction than the others. And the other players then, as you did, fluidly re-insert themselves into the story when they have time to write. This keeps play going. The main exceptions to this will, of course, be situations where players are all part of the scene and can't really be anything but invested in what's going on, like fighting mobs or disabling a trap that's about to incinerate everything in the room etc.Regarding your OOC question in the main thread, EL, I suppose the pace of the DM's responses is entirely up to the DM. Some Storytellers in CoN reply to players frequently while others would wait for everyone and reply in one big chunk. It depends on their style.

Also wtf lol
Spoiler Alert!
That'll be my "mangled corpse" shot if we don't find anyone else.
Please keep formatting to the color code. I should probably compile one above, but regular dialogue needs to be in standard quotes. You can make the words a bit bigger or bold them if you like, but please leave colors for things like votes, in calmer stages of the story like the one we're in now (a vote will suffice for an action in some of these) your main action (like in a fight or other suspense action cycle), and of course for NARRATION.
It also just occured to me that the players may sometimes change a dialogue type calm interaction into a suspense action cycle by choosing to attack the mob. This is, as long as there is a majority vote.
I updated the first post with another spoiler at the bottom with the current color code. @taf @TGRF @kolakoski @Tornado @HolyDiver please review these when you get a chance. There are a couple clarifications, and one added action.
