G.I. Joe Coming to HeroScape?

I think you would be under selling the Power Rangers as a squad.
Currently, The Einar Imperium is the highest cost unique squad at 140. What if the Power Rangers were 200? I’m talking about them fighting outside their mechs. Also, whatever their alien baddies are would be a squad too.

I think the Putties would make a great squad, either common or respawning unique.
Does classic have a 5(6) figure squad?
Like anything can be done of course. Being able to give the Rangers 2 Life would certainly be a boon. A 200 point squad would be up there with the highest point Heroes, not sure how that would shake up the meta or if they would be willing to push the envelope but it would be fun to see.
Though if the current design group lacks a lot of Heroscape experience (I cannot imagine it is anywhere near the War Council), I would say anything is possible.
Take my perspective with a grain of salt as I am pro hero over squad and prefer the C3G approach that allows them to be individuals, while working as a team but also to be able to pilot their mechs, so a simple squad sounds less cool to me.
Would love to get those miniatures!

I'm too old to have grown up a Power Rangers fan so I have no dog in this fight, but I'm surprised to see Power Rangers fans wanting to see them represented as squads. Are they so devoid of individual characteristics that they shouldn't be Unique Heroes?

I just was throwing a suggestion out there so that it didn't turn into a 6 figure squad... I'd rather them not have additional brands forced into heroscape in the first place.

I’m not a fan (don’t hate them either), just thought it would be an interesting approach for a brand. They fight together as a team, that says ‘squad’ to me. Same for most Joes, can get a lot more in for a lower cost if they are in squads. I don’t see being in a squad as a negative.

Nah, I want them to be unique Heroes. The minions they fight can be squads.

I think Power Rangers would fit in well with the Marvel side of the game and GI Joe if that comes to fruition. I would want them to be heroes but have a bonding ability to activate two or three Rangers in a turn.

Truth had an audio interview on the old site with the designers talking about the Marvel set right before its release. Craig van Ness said he "highly recommended the Captain America/Raelin combo."
I found the old podcast interview with Truth, Craig Van Ness and designer Chris Nelson. The relevant part starts at around the 3:50 mark. Link is here.
