One major magic class feels redundant with Magical Affinity in terms of shout outs. I’m pro-Sorcerer
I'm pro using what fits as long as we don't lose Mystic as an option.
I am still in favor of just one btw, have just been more exploring every angle with it.
I think Witch could work since there are characters where it's important to their history as long as it works themewise (both Wandavision and Midnight Suns are two good modern examples that tie back to Salem and such) I just don't want things split where it's like manwiches/ladywizards/etc are left out of synergies for no good reason.
Odd question about Master of the Mystic Arts. Why use the "has 3+ life remaining" verbiage instead of calling out having 3 or fewer wounds? Just a feel thing?
I've got a huge interest in our magic users and also would like to see Sorceree be a break out. The Magical Affinity faction has sone great potential because there is opportunity to have generalized support that hits all magic users or pointed support that only hits classes (spells, bonding, buffs) like witch or sorcerer.
Has anyone spitballs a big listed based on our library yet of what classes would specifically belong to the magical affinity world? Because I'm assuming that any class could have magical affinity but some classes couldnt exist without having it (sorcerer for instance).
I think it could be cool to lock onto the 'source' of someone's magic and their employment as the vehicle that drives what class they are.
Mutually exclusive. Any class could get the Magical Affinity power. If they can cast spells regularly as a thing they do they are up for discussion.
though I do think Sorcerer without the Magical Affinity power seems odd

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Yeah, not sure there's a really important mechanical difference (though in theory some figure could come around and add Life to another figure or something) but about the same amount of words either way and means basically the same thing either way, so this is the one we happened to go with.
