Victory Point Format details
Spoiler Alert!

TL;DR
Each game will end after 4 rounds. 4-player games will end after 3 rounds. Whoever has the most points at that time wins the game.

Points are scored at the end of every round as follows:

  • If you control no zones, you get 0 points.
  • If you control more zones than every other player (1st place), you get
    • 4 points at the end of the first round
    • 6 points at the end of the second round
    • 8 points at the end of every subsequent round
  • If you control the 2nd-most zones (2nd place), you get
    • 2 points at the end of the first round
    • 3 points at the end of the second round
    • 4 points a the end of every subsequent round
  • If you control the 3rd-most zones (3rd place), you get
    • 1 point at the end of the first and second rounds
    • 2 points at the end of every subsequent round
  • 4th-most zones (4th place) scores no points
In the case of ties, all tied players (and all players controlling fewer zones than them) move down one "place" in scoring.

So for example

  • in the case of a tie for 1st place, all 1st place players would score 2nd place points, all 2nd place players would score 3rd place points, etc.
  • in the case of a tie for 2nd place, the 1st place player would score 1st place, all 2nd place players would score 3rd place, etc.
  • in the case of a tie for 3 place, 3rd place players would score no points

Due to low attendance for a multiplayer event we decided to cancel this one. We'll do the same format in November.
