Thursday 9pm. I will not be able to make it as I will be running a RPG at that time. Should be fun though. TOM has a thread(s) about it.60 points, rough stuff. The Allies are really going to have to butter me up to help float that one.
That really puts a nail in the coffin of restricted designs unless we can get approval for lesser cost, which I am guessing is unlikely. 'The best laid plans of mice and men.'
A different question in regards to custom cards. I am giving away some Heroclix figures as well as some Satanus figures at Gen Con for The Orange Mailman's C3G tournament during casual play. Some will be the Walmart figures for which I have a custom card. My question is, do I need to pay for those additional cards?
When's the casual play tourney?

Well, my schedule has been tainted by public education, so I'm gonna only be able to go on Saturday...
Quick question about the variant cards: currently you're not allowed to share them with anyone else online. What's the rationale behind that, and would it be possible to open up a (presumably more expensive) option to make a variant card publicly available?
Personally, I don't use the official cards much because I'm a little hard-up for space, so I don't think I'd ever buy a variant card just for myself. It'd be cool to have the option to open them up for everyone, though.

With our latest release, we also have other big news! In an effort to offset the price increase of the second public thread, we're discounting two other items for the foreseeable future!
The C3G Hero Mentorship program is now 5 points (was 10 points)

I have plenty of points, I've just been sitting on at least 15 points so I'm eligible for public design. I have 17 now so with one priority test I'll be able to buy one myself.
Plus I need the time to come up with a halfway decent design. I already posted all my good ones.

Yeah I'm not sure how being in the art department translates and have never actually asked. Probably because I never really thought about points until recently since the only thing I thought I would need was alternate cards and since I make cards if I ever needed an alternate for myself I could have made it. However I use the comic versions anyway and playing card sized cards usually that was never an issue.
Actually I just thought about it...I spend a lot of time creating these cards to get them to a certain level for release and I don't actually use them. So I guess I do this for the fun and camaraderie...that and my son thinks I'm cool because I "make" cards.
My goal now is to someday get to spend 24 hours of a non work day in the inner sanctum just to read the stories...I bet there are some good discussions in there.

I really just enjoy watching the creative process work. I am not ashamed to admit that I have on occassion read through an entire design thread just to relive the design process. Some of them are pretty enjoyable.

I'm going to need custom cards for Groot, Rocket and Gamora as I did not buy the figures used for the cards. Do you need pictures from me to start this?
If it's a straight swap of mini's with no additional work to backgrounds or color schemes I believe the concensus was 6 points per card. But yes there is also a requirement for you to post high quality images for the mini's you want so we can create a new card and target icon. I don't think I did any of those three.
edit.. @A3n did two and @Flame Gryphon the other. I know FG was having some technical difficulties so if he has to forward me the files for his I could probably help him out.
