Slightly more enthusiastic than your average wave. :)

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

(singing in best opera voice) FIGARO! FIGARO!

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

You haven't heard my opera voice. I'm actually pretty good for an amateur. :p

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

You meant you saw an entire booster, not an entire wave. :p

Kind of a small wave now that I think of it. Normally, each booster has at least 5 units, these all have 4, unless there's a secret fifth unit in each wave..............................

Normally there are only three boosters when they have five each in them. This has four boosters of four. So 16 instead of 15. So it's slightly larger than the average wave, actually. :p

Both of the last two boosters had 4 sets of 5, Superman and Batman (although a guess one in each was a squadies wave) the only one I remember, since I started getting involved, being 3 of 5 was the Avengers wave.

Average wave 17-18 depending on how many units the Squad booster has.

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

I count by cards, not minis.

And if you're only taking the last two waves into account, no wonder your perceptions are so far off. You need to take a longer view.

Here's a breakdown, not counting peripheral cards like glyphs and DOs:

Wave 1: 12 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 2: 14 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 3: 5 cards in 1 booster
Wave 4: 15 cards in 4 boosters
Wave 5: 15 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 6: 16 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 7: 15 cards in 4 boosters
Wave 8: 15 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 9: 14 cards in 4 boosters
Wave 10: 23 cards in 4 boosters (anniversary wave)
Wave 11: 15 cards in 3 boosters
Wave 12: 17 cards in 4 boosters
Wave 13: 18 cards in 4 boosters

Average: 14.92 cards in 3.3 boosters

Removing anomalous waves (3 and 10), Average: 15.09 cards in 3.45 boosters

So 16 cards in 4 boosters is larger than average. :p

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

Ouch, I got totaled :nkick:

Guess you're right then, these past few have definently been a time for extra units though 17 18 and 23(great wave p.s.).

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

Yeah, we had a few extra that we had the opportunity to get out there that fit the theme of those waves so we took advantage of it. :) Doesn't happen for every wave, though.

Fwiw, we're making it a goal to do 23 for our future anniversary waves now.

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

I think it was b/c there were 230 designs since C3G began, something like that.

On a different note, there's still the "Extra Side" and it doesn't look like any of the boosters are "side" anything

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

23 because the anniversary is April 23rd.

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

Nice work everyone! I believe every figure for the upcoming release was guessed except for one ...

But now we're pushing forward w/ another C3G event:
Spoiler Alert!

C3G Halloween Costume Submission Form

Name of Submission - (Thematic name of the submission; be creative)
Sponsored Heroscaper - (Your Heroscapers Username; If it is the family of a Heroscaper, please make that clearly known. For example if my daughter wanted to submit her costume under my username I’d put “Hellfire’s Daughter.” If I had a second daughter who wished to submit I’d put, “Hellfire’s Daughter 2.” If my wife wished to submit I’d just put, “Mrs. Hellfire. Point being, just be clear who’s costume is being submitted and which Heroscaper we need to PM the prizes to.)

Spoiler Alert!

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

where do we post this Pm or thread?

Edit: Nevermind I had to look one page back to find out :)

But now we're pushing forward w/ another C3G event.

C3G Super Halloween Costume Contest Rules:

Spoiler Alert!

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

Has there been a release date announced for the Fantastic Wave yet?

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

Right now! ... I wish. I think it might happen on my birthday (the 26th).

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

I've been meaning to ask this for a while, but here it is. Why don't the heroes get together with the SLH people and try to organize an official C3G tournament, with the prize being, similar to this current contest, a look at a unreleased card(s). I think it would be a great way to attract more people, and It would still be "super" :) fun

Re: C3G Promotions Dept. - October is Fantastic w/ an Extra

I don't know what SLH means.
