Screenshots will be acceptable ... as screenshots are not always as exciting to look at I'd prefer to see screenshots of key strategical situations.
As far as the videos go...you can record your battle during online play, while playing against a friend, playing against an opponent from an opposing team, or playing alone in your neighbor's basement (don't ask me why you'd be alone in your neighbor's basement playing Heroscape).

I think the main downside is that the Anti monitor will be playing the same unit throughout the whole campaign, which would not be as exciting as playing a new team every battle.

Technically, it'll depend on the plot twists/scenarios/stories.
Really, if you are doing solo play (i.e. representing only yourself) during a ... oh, idk ... Avengers vs JLA scenario (apparently 1v1), you can still play out the scenario w/ your wife/kids/friends/gf/etc or even by yourself. It's up to you how you execute the scenario ... Solo, 1v1, 2v2, etc. You just have to organize it w/in the defined rules for the scenario.
There will be a tease of the upcoming scenario coming soon; hopefully it'll add clarity.

Unless the signups list hasn't quite been updated, it looks like there's one too many players on Marvel. I'm probably going to sign up, though, and I'm willing to go Anti-Monitor if I do, so it may be a non-issue.

No...I don't foresee a situation where you'll required to play 1v1. You could play every scenario doing it all as solo play, if that's what you like (you just miss out on the bonus points for winning PvP battles against other opposing registered players). And when doing solo play you could be playing a true solo experience or playing a game against one of your kids.
The goal here is to allow participants as much flexibility as possible. You can play by yourself, w/ a friend, w/ other registered participants on any map you like. The scenario might call for a Wakanda map, however, the scenario won't dictate to you what that map should look like, it'll be up to the creativity of the player(s) involved to decide how that map should look.
*sigh* I'm probably making this sound way too complicated ... bottom line is that you can play pretty much however you like. While there may be a few strict rules (like draftable heroes, special rules, etc) for each scenario, most of the scenarios are simply guidelines that establish the setting and stakes involved.

So I noticed you get extra points for playing against with another player from an opposing side. I play at home with my girl, would it be considered cheap if I have her sign up to the site and register in a later round so I can get the extra points.
