A3n's playing card-sized Character Cards

Quite some time ago one of the members here posted all the RotV character cards in a playing card sized format. I thought this was great until I got MtCB. So I made my a variant for my Marvel characters no real issue as the original cards aren't alike either. Then I grabbed a few other extra units & that was the end of it, well I also kind lost my enthusiasm playing only the basic game at that stage. Now my 5 year old is able to play the master game, & I have started to get into the game again, so I thought it would be good to have all my figures in the playing cards size so I tried to recreate the cards that were put here so long ago. I thought I had done a pretty good job until I printed a couple out. Somehow my sizing was all out of whack, but mine were also clearer being in a larger dpi than the originals so I redesigned the layout borrowing a few of the original elements & producing something that (I believe) still has the same feel as the genuine character cards. Now I have only made cards for the characters that I actually have but I will include my Photoshop template if anybody wants to add to the collection. I will also be doing my customs characters also, eventually.

Just wanted to save you any possible work in case you were doing it just because you thought they weren't all available. For the record, though (and no offense to the person who made that other thread), yours look authentic. I like them better Top notch. +rep just for how nice they look

Raudulfr has all of them, even Wave 9. These are some pretty sweet cards you made! On Squad cards, what are the half circles in the bottom right corner? Are they just so you know how many figures per squad?

Yes the circles are just indicators of the number of members in the squad. I did the same sort of thing on the Marvels with the LED's on the side of the attributes tab, except that I made them permanently there & they just light-up for the number of members - hence they all have 1 lit at the moment. But I'm not too sure if I like that or not.

It wasn't Raudulf's cards I was referring to. This was an old download that didn't seem to make it over when the site was redone. Raudulf's cards are great & he has done an extremely good job keeping them up to date. I just had these older ones which looked close enough to the genuine cards I just had to have more that were had the same feel. What I know about the original ones is that Lord Raidor provided photos for a lot of them but there isn't any other name on the cards for me to give the creator the credit he is due.

This is the what the original ones looked like & hence where my inspiration came from.

the marvel template is not in the zip

also how do i load an image in the mask section? i am not that good with photoshop, but i know how to place layers etc. apaprently i can't get the picture right inside that small mask preview
