I am still working on those fixes to edits (fixes for posts that edits between May 20 and Aug 20) but they should all of the best version available in the edit history. Feel free to tell the system to restore to the correct version. Any changes I do to correct other posts would not affect ones...

Well, that didn't happen. I thought I had issues nearly resolved with downloads, but more came up. NOW I think we're down to 1 issue remaining. It'll be soon and then I can work on other larger things. I'm continuing to swat at small issues.

Yes, it's still hidden for a reason. I finally figured out the last part of our issue with it yesterday afternoon, but haven't implemented a fix.

OP is now up-to-date. I am predicting downloads will FINALLY be working right tonight or tomorrow.

Downloads had to be temporarily turned off because it had a few issues. Getting much closer on it now. Down to just 1 issue!

This was fixed, but ended up making the older edit history disappear. If the post content isn't showing the most recent edit, please send me examples. I suspect there are numerous ones available. There is an outside person I need to bug about that for various reasons.

It's not quite the same, but you should be able to use the bbcode which is roughly equivalent to the old vbulletin [NOPARSE] bbcode.

There are a lot more automated bot killing tools available in this software. Most are not turned on yet. I want to get to a good baseline before I do something that could potentially bug out and turn away legit users (although the odds of that happening are very, very, very low).

Sorry I'm just getting to replying to this. Yes, of course they will! I've added the blog issue to the OP. The only user-posed data intentionally missing in the migration is reputation comments. Anything else missing is something I'm working to restore.

There is no option for this on the new software, but as Bats pointed out you can get a link directly to the post in-context by clicking on the post number. You can also click on the time of a piece of content most anywhere in the system (including areas without post numbers) to get the same thing.
